Last week I filed an application for a judicial recount of the recent election for councillor in Ward 4 and today we've heard the application has been received. 1/

Ok I will try a third time to ask. Does anyone know what can be done about Ward 4? We don't have any representation and the wrong person at the table. Please help! We should be able to have a revote? Recount? We matter and our voices need to be heard. #yycvote

@JyotiGondek is there anything that we, the residents of ward 4 can do - we do not have the right person sitting at the table for us. Can we issue a revote? Recount? Anything?! We need to see @djkelly at the table making changes for us. Please help!!

We have heard from Elections Calgary, and my request for a recount in Ward 4 has been denied. The LAE Act as it is written gives the Returning Officer limited discretion and authority to conduct a recount. As a result, I will begin the process of requesting a judicial recount.
