The Crime & Policing bill is in parliament tomorrow, the bill that we estimate will see over 220,000 people a year be reported to the police for cooking or pursuing their outdoor hobbies.

This is the worst implementation of knife legislation we have ever seen. We're all for reporting suspicious purchases and have been doing so for 3 years. This just means we will be reporting around 5 scout groups a day to the Home Office or Police.

@HouseofCommons @commonslibrary This bill means you will be reported to the police if you buy a set of 6 steak knives online. It needs amending!

MPs will debate the remaining stages of the Crime and Policing Bill on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
Find out more about the bill, including how it has been amended at committee stage, with the @commonslibrary's impartial research: commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-brief…

@NatWestBusiness When Microsoft had an outage the other month they were able to give details of CrowdStrike being the source. We need to know who to contact about this to get some actual timeframes.
English

@Springfields I am not able to provide details on third parties. For support please call the team on 0345 901 0001.
Again we apologise for the situation and everyone is working tirelessly to resolve it.
We thank everyone for there patience and understanding.
English

@NatWestBusiness A third party provider, could you please name them?
English

@Springfields No security issue has occurred, and the issue appears to have been caused by a third party.
The Tyl team are working tirelessly to fix the issue, as it is affecting all Tyl customers.
For further support, please contact our Tyl team on 0345 901 0001.

@NatWestBusiness @TylByNatWest @NatWestBusiness Your lack of response to this tweet tends to strengthen my position that you've had some kind of serious breach. Are our funds from yesterday safe?
English

@TimStephenson @TylByNatWest @NatWest_Help @NatWestBusiness An expected timeline would be helpful, if you suffered some kind of breach and it's going to take days to get back online we need to know ASAP.
English

@TimStephenson @TylByNatWest @NatWest_Help @NatWestBusiness It's pretty bad for an outage to take this long, can you confirm that you haven't been hacked @TylByNatWest?
English

@TylByNatWest Do you know how long the outage is expected to last?
English

@elliot_snow17 Thanks for letting us know, we will contact them today.
English

@Springfields Hi, yes all sorted, great job, thanks.
One thing I forgot to mention, but not your fault, please have a word with your courier, the package was marked 'not for under 18' or similar and it was just posted through the letterbox. I have 5 inquisitive, young sons. Could've been bad!
English

@Springfields bought an item for my son's birthday, it was squashed into a too small envelope and the box was squashed, his birthday is 13/2. Your website says excellent customer service but there doesn't seem to be a number to call.
English

@pompeyhedge @CaptainCave11 @rossendale_rob @JaneAXX1 Don't worry! I didn't take it that way, we're always happy to help and engage. Being high up on Google for the term machetes is always something we have to manage and comes with quite a bit of responsibility.
English

@Springfields @CaptainCave11 @rossendale_rob @JaneAXX1 I don't doubt your credibility as company, I'm sorry if it came across that way.
As my OP states it's the people, sorry the low life scum, not the inanimate object that's to blame.
English

Banning them? It's already illegal to carry them.
The knives aren't the problem. It's the people using them. Idiot.
Sadiq Khan calls for blanket ban on machetes and zombie knives as pressure grows on London Mayor ov… mol.im/a/12997295 via dailym.ai/android
English

@pompeyhedge @CaptainCave11 @rossendale_rob @JaneAXX1 2/2 the companies that won't engage or help are the problem. I believe we are the only company that asks purchasers of large quantities of machetes for a justification for purchase.
English

@pompeyhedge @CaptainCave11 @rossendale_rob @JaneAXX1 1/2 The trouble is, plenty of legitimate people do buy them: agriculture, groundskeepers, fisheries and a roof thatchers from the last couple of weeks. We work with the Met and try to advise on new legislation where possible. More needs to be done for sure.
