Russia has started targeting Ukrainian passenger trains recently. So now, in case of attack, trains stop and people get out (train cars burn down in minutes if attacked). Passengers of the Lozova-Lviv train lit up a fire as they wait for hours for the attack to end. It's still cold during the night in Ukraine.

Friends, I try to show you Ukraine from different angles, not just write about the war. Here's one more piece of the puzzle that is current life in Ukraine: I once shared about storks Odarka (female) and Hrytsko (male) who spend the winter in warmer locations, then return to Ukraine for spring and summer. For many Ukrainians, their relationship is like a TV show, a subject of many discussions, jokes and memes. Today, Odarka is back in Ukraine! This is a big deal for us. Ukrainians share this on social media, and look forward to Hrytsko returning. There's a livestream of their nest.

I wanted to share some nice news from Ukraine with you: Storks Hrytsko (male) and Odarka (female) have returned to Ukraine after spending the winter in warmer areas. There is a 24-hour livestream from their nest in Leliaky village, Poltava region - since 2024. Scientists from the National Nature Park watch the birds. A lot of Ukrainians are invested in Hrytsko and Odarka's relationship. Many memes and jokes have been created on the topic.
