Chang'e 6 is not exactly where I though it would be. It seems to have entered the lunar hill sphere now that I have a recent state vector. Radio position tracking seems to have it much closer angularly to the Moon then expected. 🧵⬇️

QUEQIAO-2 appears locked with a ground station. Most likely one of China's many in South America. The much higher slope than predicted is your first clue. Fitting the data to estimated orbit is the next clue...

🚨 QUEQIAO-2 loud and clear on S-band. Using likely the same primary TT&C as QUEQIAO-1 as it's Doppler is just a bit lower at the moment while close to Earth... On the usual direct ascent approach to the Moon used by other Chinese missions so launch appears successful.

HAFF is great Harmonized Atmospheric Frequency Flares! I have observed this clash of these 2 signals several times,always the same. I reiterate that 5.8Mhz is a quite active frequency in reality. It may not be directly related,but let's add this to the signal observations #Haff
