Chang'e 6 is not exactly where I though it would be. It seems to have entered the lunar hill sphere now that I have a recent state vector. Radio position tracking seems to have it much closer angularly to the Moon then expected. 🧵⬇️

@sq3dho When first launched, the packets from the SWARM/SpaceBee constellation did sometimes contain plain text. However, the downlink was later encrypted when the service went commercial.

I saved LORA frames from SpaceBEE satellites to a file and I see that there are single words there: get, geometry, file, type, object, msg etc Can the content be encrypted? Why are only single words visible? TXT File here: filetransfer.io/data-package/5… #swarm #spacebee #satnogs #lora

QUEQIAO-2 appears locked with a ground station. Most likely one of China's many in South America. The much higher slope than predicted is your first clue. Fitting the data to estimated orbit is the next clue...

🚨 QUEQIAO-2 loud and clear on S-band. Using likely the same primary TT&C as QUEQIAO-1 as it's Doppler is just a bit lower at the moment while close to Earth... On the usual direct ascent approach to the Moon used by other Chinese missions so launch appears successful.
