Thanks to an alert from @PE2BZ, we have a new unknown 62k5 LoRa sat around 430.910 MHz! Tracks as #67680 (2026-023G) from the Cosmos-2600 launch. Anyone have an ID or recognize the decode? (*exact freq & LoRa 'CR' TBD) Great catch, Ben!

Only one chance in this lifetime… Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him. I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.

No es un gran cometa pero para que el C/2025 R3 se vea desde el núcleo urbano de #Valladolid tampoco es poca cosa. Arriba el timelapse normal que grabé esta madrugada. Abajo dejando traza para mostrar el desplazamiento del cometa respecto a las estrellas.

Just received the first SMT PCB of the Raspberry Pi RTL-SDR/LoRa/GPS/RTC Hat from JLCPCB, and everything works like a charm. I even implemented the GPS PPS indicator as @geerlingguy suggested. I can think of some fun use cases with it, like using an RTL-SDR to listen in on emergency broadcasts, converting the audio to text, and broadcasting it over LoRa to a public Meshtastic or Meshcore channel. If you have better ideas, drop a comment and let me know! 今朝は3つの月面衝突閃光が出現しました。2025年12月15日4:35:55、4:58:20、5:33:08の閃光です。富士と平塚からの同時観測で、各閃光とも月面上における同地点での発光を確認、いずれもふたご座流星群の衝突領域でした。3つの検出はリアルタイム動体検知の速報値で、他にも出現した可能性があります。
