@licensetodraw @playpokemon The 1st time I ever casted was with @JigglyDad's Shoutcasting School where I was judged by @squawk1337 and @2Obutters. I then did Friday Night Fights with @SosaFlo1. I'm ever grateful for those opportunities because they led me to more grassroots casting and then Play! Pokémon.

Want an idea of how important @PokemonGoApp is to TPCi? The very last thing they feature at the top of today's direct is GO Fest. The final evolution has always been Pokémon in the real world. Now let's hope they can continue working towards a game deserving of that place.

Just as I'm 100 days free of #PokemonGo they launch a promo of #PokemonLegendsArceus 😅😅 Looks almost like a BOTW-esque Pokemon open world which could be lots of fun

I'm going to heed my own advice and take a break from #PokemonGO. From wanting my location even when the app is closed to the revolving door of FOMO events and features designed to keep people hooked (even at the expense of a pleasurable user experience) I've had enough.

@JangohFhett @stramben I think it's a sound business model for a mobile game I just question whether I want to keep playing

@squawk1337 @stramben Its the only thing keeping people playing I'd assume In their eyes. We've been doing and redoing the same things since 2016, just in different ways haha. I look back at all the resources and time I spent and say that was silly but fun.

Anyone else just feel overwhelmed with #PokemonGo? Whether it's battling, collecting or raiding it just feels like the goal post keeps moving away every time. What is the point?

@JangohFhett @stramben FOMO has a role in the fatigue but when time and resources spent are rendered pointless... I'll just say I don't know what to do with that

@stramben @squawk1337 This 100%. It's still first and foremost a game. A hobby. If you don't enjoy doing it, step back or slow down. And don't say fomo, they bring everything back.
