Tonight I heard a failed and desperate president who as war spirals and prices rise is as always focused on his grievances, his shame, and above all his fear of the accountability that will come with defeat. I also heard a president signaling his unmistakable intent to attack these elections and our voting rights, just as he tried to throw out our votes and seize the presidency in 2020. Our answer will be overwhelming. Across Georgia a wave of defiance is building to rebuke him so decisively that no president ever again dares such brazen corruption and abuse. The power of the presidency is nothing compared to the power of the people.

JD Vance: "Back in 2018, 2020, we reached sort of the peak of academic censorship...Epstein we know was funding a ton of scientists...When he died, it's almost like the era of censorship started to break." Vance is literally saying that wokeness came from Jeffrey Epstein! He was personally making the universities adopt DEI and land acknowledgments. This isn't Vance going along with Rogan's conspiracy theories, stuff about UFOs, etc. No. Vance is an original thinker! He's a contributor to the field of conspiracies. He's making connections that even Rogan wouldn't make. There is something deeply wrong with this man. He wanted power so desperately that every critical faculty he once had has been weakened or destroyed. Or maybe he's just lying? I don't know. That would explain going along with conspiracies. Why is he inventing new ones? Just to be more credible to these people? Even Rogan seems not to buy this one. Notice he credits this theory to a "friend." This strikes me as making it more likely to be legitimate. Vance does spend a lot of time speaking to people are just as nuts as he is and taking what they say seriously. It's genuinely and shockingly distributing a man could be like this. Every time I think his commentary can't get any stupider, Vance surprises me.

Isn’t it weird that Trump’s speech never mentioned Russia – probably the single biggest perpetrator of election influence?

@bendreyfuss I feel like this attitude was quite prevalent in your world six years ago, and then a bunch of tweets had to be deleted, and then memories got wiped.

Docs released tonight echo those released already. Trump's speech conveniently left out that the biggest election interference came from Russia and was designed to get him another term. This is from tonight's batch

Will Ferrell says his favorite review of Step Brothers came from Roger Ebert who called it “the end of Western civilization.” Ebert went further and urged readers not to buy it on DVD. Not to support movies like it. Will Ferrell: …”It’s like, the our most favorite review of Step Brothers was Roger Ebert… …who said, “This is the end of Western civilization.” Will Ferrell: And he went as far as to say, “Do not buy this on DVD when it comes out. Do not support movies like this, because it will, it will make other people think they should make movies similar to this.” “So, please…” It was a it was like a call to action. (Mimics Ebert) “McAdams… McKay and Ferrell… Ahhh… That is so delicious.” Only because we had gotten enough filled up on the love side, that we could handle it.”

Yeah, contra Carr, Dems should preemptively warn the networks that they’ll interpret any double standard here as pro-Trump bias.
