#गाजियाबाद लोनी बार्डर थाना क्षेत्र की लालबाग कालोनी में रहने वाले उपेंद्र राघव ने किसी साइट से आनलाइन लोन लेने की कोशिश की 18/04/2026 को एजेंट ने उनके पास एक लडका भेजा,उसने कार्ड से आनलाइन ट्रांजेक्शन करके उपेंद्र के एक लाख रुपए ठग लिए, उपेंद्र ने अपने साथ हुई ठगी का एहसास होते ही उस लड़के को पकड़ लिया और इसकी सूचना पुलिस को दी,पुलिस कंपनी के एजेंट को लालबाग चौकी पर ले गए उसके बाद लोनी बार्डर थाने पर ले गए,इस मामले में पीड़ित उपेंद्र का आरोप है कि पुलिस उनसे बार बार शिकायत लिखवा कर उसमें कमी बता रही हैं खासकर थाना प्रभारी के लिए उनका कहना है पहले उनके द्वारा समझौता कराने के लिए बोला गया नहीं तो जेल भेजने की बात कही लेकिन मुकदमा तो बहुत दूर की बात है अभी तक कोई कार्रवाई नहीं की है और उनका रवैया भी उनके प्रति अच्छा नहीं रहा। @myogiadityanath जी ये हाल है @ghaziabadpolice के कुछ जिम्मेदारो का, यह हाल तो तब है जब पीड़ित ने ही ठगी करने वाले को पकड़कर पुलिस को सौंप दिया है, @ghaziabadpolice कमिश्नर द्वारा लगातार जनता के प्रति अच्छे व्यवहार की हिदायत दी जाती है लेकिन उसके बावजूद कुछ लोग अपनी जिम्मेदारी को नहीं समझते है कुर्सी मिलते ही हवा में उड़ने लगते हैं। @Uppolice @dgpup पीड़ित बहुत परेशान हैं उसके मामले में किसी भी योग्य अधिकारी से जांच कराकर कारवाई कराई जाएं। "पीड़ित के कहें अनुसार"

River Treaties Must Reflect Today’s Realities, Not Yesterday’s Compulsions On this World Water Day 2026, we speak with a deep sense of responsibility and emotion, remembering that for India, water is not only a resource — it is life, livelihood, civilisation, and the backbone of farmers’ prosperity. Nearly 80% of India’s freshwater is used in agriculture, and more than half of our farmers still depend on monsoon and river systems for survival. In such a reality, decisions related to rivers are not technical matters alone — they are questions of national security, food sovereignty, and rural dignity. 💧🇮🇳🌾 In this context, CNRI and WCOOPEF strongly welcome the emerging shift in South Asia towards revision of long-standing river treaties, and sincerely appreciate the Government of India for taking long-due steps to review the Indus Waters Treaty and to re-examine river arrangements with Nepal, which were framed under very different geopolitical and developmental conditions. South Asia holds nearly 25% of the world’s population but less than 5% of global freshwater resources, making rational and sovereign water governance an urgent necessity. Many of the existing agreements were negotiated decades ago, when India’s irrigation demand, population pressure, climate risks, and energy needs were far lower than today. Revisiting these treaties is therefore not confrontation — it is correction, balance, and responsibility towards future generations. From the perspective of CNRI and WCOOPEF, the ongoing reconsideration of river treaties in South Asia should lead to: •Farmer-centric and irrigation-oriented water allocation •Scientific basin-level planning and storage creation •Flood and drought resilience in the Indo-Gangetic region •Strengthening cooperative irrigation and rural water systems •Alignment with the vision of Viksit Bharat and Sahkar se Samriddhi Water sovereignty is inseparable from seed sovereignty, food security, cooperative economics, and national self-reliance. A confident India must have the policy space to manage its rivers in accordance with present realities, technological capabilities, and the needs of its farmers.
