For 25 years, Google’s engine ran on the click. Agents don’t click. Today, @youdotcom is partnering with @Cloudflare to rebuild the economic model of the agentic web, where agents access premium content and creators get paid for the value they provide. Day one. More to come!
Cloudflare@Cloudflare

One year after declaring Content Independence Day, a dynamic market for monetized content has emerged. In this report, we examine how the rise of autonomous AI agents is upending traditional search referrals and detail the new infrastructure required to support a sustainable web economy. cfl.re/442JPbR

Before Google, humans could still navigate, integrate, and transact across the web, but it was slow and fragmented. AI agents face the same challenge today. That's why we started Orthogonal. Excited to finally share that we've raised a $4.3M seed round led by @PanteraCapital! Huge thanks to our investors and everyone who believed in us early. We're just getting started. 🚀 Read more: thestreet.com/crypto/newsroo…

🎉We raised $4.3 million to build the infrastructure layer for agents to discover, orchestrate and pay for services. We're grateful to our investors and supporters who believe in what we're building. Let's keep building.

Web search is a core primitive for coding agents. Factory's Droid uses search constantly -- SDK docs, unfamiliar libraries, MCP configs. Wrong context = more loops, more cost. @YoudotcomHQ powers Droid's search layer. Building a coding agent? Choose your search infra carefully.
You.com@youdotcom

Web search is invisible infrastructure for AI agents—until it fails mid-session. @FactoryAI's Droid agent calls it multiple times per workflow. Their old provider was quietly making every session slower and more expensive. Here's what they found when they benchmarked @youdotcom. ⬇️

@LangChain @youdotcom Orchestrator skipping the Finance API is smart. Separates coordination from execution. What's the full pipeline latency though? That tells you whether this stays research or goes operational.

Proud of this one. @LangChain and @youdotcom just published a macroeconomic research agent built on the Finance Research API, Deep Agents, and LangSmith. 27 EU economies, fully cited, 45 minutes, $2.20.

Finally got agent pilled and set up Hermes agent on Opus, you.com for search, connected to whatsapp, told it to install Gstack on itself. Feels like I'm playing Productivity(TM): The Video Game. I'm addicted.

Proud to work daily with the amazing Ricardo Baeza-Yates @PolarBearby!
Jeff Dean@JeffDean

Delighted to see that Ricardo Baeza-Yates (@PolarBearby) is this year's winner of the @TheOfficialACM Luiz Barroso Award (an award named in honor of my longtime Google colleague). Ricardo is widely regarded as one of the world’s foremost researchers in information retrieval, and many of you may have read is excellent textbook Modern Information Retrieval (co-authored with Berthier Ribeiro-Neto). He has also played a pivotal role in strengthening the Latin American computing community. Ricardo's accomplishments and selection would make Luiz proud! awards.acm.org/about/2025-bar…

I'm lucky enough to have a great doctor and access to excellent Bay Area medical care. I've taken lots of standard screening tests over the years and have tried lots of "health tech" devices and tools. With all this said, by far the most useful preventative medical advice that I've ever received has come from unleashing coding agents on my genome, having them investigate my specific mutations, and having them recommend specific follow-on tests and treatments. Population averages are population averages, but we ourselves are not averages. For example, it turns out that I probably have a 30x(!) higher-than-average predisposition to melanoma. Fortunately, there are both specific supplements that help counteract the particular mutations I have, and of course I can significantly dial up my screening frequency. So, this is very useful to know. I don't know exactly how much the analysis cost, but probably less than $100. Sequencing my genome cost a few hundred dollars. (One often sees papers and articles claiming that models aren't very good at medical reasoning. These analyses are usually based on employing several-year-old models, which is a kind of ludicrous malpractice. It is true that you still have to carefully monitor the agents' reasoning, and they do on occasion jump to conclusions or skip steps, requiring some nudging and re-steering. But, overall, they are almost literally infinitely better for this kind of work than what one can otherwise obtain today.) There are still lots of questions about how this will diffuse and get adopted, but it seems very clear that medical practice is about to improve enormously. Exciting times!

hey if midjourney wanted to do enterprise seat management stuff, but we literally have no one to implement it (and make it nice) - is there anyone out there or any solution out there that can solve this problem for us?
