There’s a difference between the community of Oxford & Ole Miss. I went to both Ole Miss & LSU. I LOVED summer school in Oxford with all the athletes! The minute classes started in the fall, it was a different environment & I truly hope it’s changed for the better.

@chessabouche I got you. Incredibly tough environment to adjust to when you’ve went your whole life not thinking that people life that way. I wonder if it’s changed as well.

It was very segregated and I didn’t fit the usual mold. My first friend I made there was Kimblee. Didn’t think anything of it. Once class started in the fall I quickly realized how it truly was there. I was in her wedding. I played basketball my whole like and never experienced the racism I did at Ole Miss.
