A gym trainer in Bengaluru has approached the police, alleging that his wife, whom he married for love, has eloped with his close friend. The complainant, identified as Nitesh, has sought justice, claiming he was betrayed. According to the complaint, Nitesh and his wife, Ranjitha, were in a relationship before getting married with the consent of their families. During his time working at a private company, Nitesh became friends with a man named Naveen. Trusting him, the couple even stayed as tenants in Naveen’s house. Over time, Nitesh allegedly discovered that his wife was in contact with Naveen without his knowledge. He claimed that she had saved Naveen’s phone number under a woman’s name in her mobile. After confronting her, Nitesh said he advised her multiple times and eventually moved to a different residence in Banashankari. Despite this, he alleges that the two continued to stay in touch. Ranjitha had reportedly told him that Naveen was like an elder brother, but she has now allegedly left with him. According to the complaint, Ranjitha, who works at a private company, took half-day leave three days ago citing a stomach ache and did not return. She later packed her belongings and allegedly eloped with Naveen. A case has been registered at the Jayanagar Police Station, and an investigation is underway. Police are gathering details of her recent contacts and tracking mobile tower locations to trace the individuals involved. Nitesh, in his complaint, stated that his wife had not gone missing but had been taken away by his friend, expressing distress over the incident.

Ashok Kumar played Humayun, Nargis appeared as Hamida Banu, and Chandra Mohan played the Prince of Chanderi. The film became a major hit in its time. The story shown in the film was very different. It portrayed the Prince of Chanderi coming to Delhi to avenge his lineage against Babur and Humayun. Babur was presented as a noble and soft-hearted emperor who welcomed the prince with grace. The prince’s fiancée Veena was shown as Babur’s adopted Hindu daughter. Humayun was depicted as struggling against Sher Shah and Raja Jai Singh, and in the end, with the help of the Prince of Chanderi, he emerged victorious. The princess then expressed joy toward Humayun as her symbolic brother. Overall, the film created a romanticized image of the Mughal court, and audiences embraced it. But what was the actual history? In 1528, Babur attacked Chanderi, then ruled by Raja Medini Rai. Babur offered the king Shamsabad in exchange for surrendering Chanderi. When Medini Rai refused, Babur launched an assault using calculated military tactics. After victory, the men were slaughtered, and nearly one thousand Rajput women committed jauhar to avoid capture. Babur also ordered a tower of severed heads to be built there, just as he had done elsewhere. This is recorded in the Baburnama itself. So in 1945, one film effectively buried the real story. The film became a blockbuster. And the narrative was set. But in today’s age of social media, can such historical distortion still happen so easily? Can such absurd films still be made? And even if they are made would they still succeed?

They used to take admissions in medical coachings. Names of two coachings have come up: Future Hunt and Akash. After taking admissions, during common classes or cultural events, they would befriend girls from 10th, 11th, and 12th classes. After a few meetings, they would ask them out, take them to cafés. In a few meetings, they would add them to a Snapchat group whose name was in Urdu. Later, they would send messages about Islam, such as there being only one God, Allah, and so on. Meeting out became regular as they had good bikes and cars. Then they would take the girls to hotels, expensive hotels, give them gifts, later get intimate and record videos for boasting. One would imagine where this money is flowing from? These boys were part of a gang called the "Barood Gang". This gang is active locally and deals with illegal sand mining and beef trade. All the money they make from this is allegedly invested in operations like the ones Arman was carrying out. Arman and his gang would use the same clips to extort money from the girls as well. When the girls failed to meet their demands, which were in lakhs, they were asked to do favours in exchange for getting their videos deleted. What were the favours? They would ask the girls to sleep with middle-aged Muslim men. Who are these men? Members of the Barood Gang or members of political parties, allegedly. If this was not enough, the accused had shared the videos of the girls on social media platforms who failed to comply with their demands. All of this has been going on for one and a half years now, with one of the girls even committing suicide last year. As of now Ayan has been booked. More details are there about the case.
