San Francisco’s charter has a term-limit loophole that favors career politicians and shuts out new voices. I’m introducing a ballot measure to close it by limiting service to two terms. That’s it. Because leaders should create paths for the next generation of leaders.

@LiberalD6TL @saikatc Saikat entered the race back in February. That was 9 months prior to Connie or Scott. There were no existing candidates at the time, other than Nancy Pelosi for re-election. The others entered the race only after Saikat built momentum and polls showed he could defeat Pelosi.

@saikatc Interesting we don't see her in any photos. Why this race, and why now? What specifically changed that compelled you to enter this election rather than support an existing candidate aligned with your values?

Real change doesn’t happen from one place. You need people pushing on the inside and organizers disrupting on the outside. Schumer rightfully getting a lot of flack. But Durbin should be getting just as much flack. He's the Senate whip. His job is to whip votes to hold the line. Yet he just voted to cave to Trump and allow healthcare premiums to skyrocket. Both need to step down from leadership.
