"Elon's iq is probably not even that high I only make $50k a year by choice and because I am morally superior to him I have a Master's degree as well and he doesn't I would estimate his IQ at ~125 Not low, but certainly not near mine which is 153 I assume" - Every redditor

@sriya_j @benaratame You should actually start one for all genders too! Would love to join if you create one such group.

@k_shvn Check out @talentpluto - the process is pretty text-based actually lol but obviously you still have conversational interviews

@meet_sijariya @itsvedantkumar Why are we anthropomorphizing AI? AI may “lack” human unpredictability, but does it need it? Will having it allow AI to achieve its highest purpose aka what it’s best suited to help humans with? I don’t think “replacing” human relationships is where AI companions will excel

how do you decrease stigma around AI companions?

@itsvedantkumar How many humans only have one friend? We’ll realize that humans are there for us only in ways humans can be, and AI friends are there for us in ways only AI can be. Nothing replaces human breath, touch, shared laughter, shared gossip and drama, and crying with each other.

@sriya_j isnt that the natural progression though ai companionship has less friction

@itsvedantkumar Probably tbh. But they don’t have to. Thats where stigma comes from. An AI companion by UX is just an emotionally intimate, friendly entity that can help you in all the ways a human expert can.

@tapodhana_ Right, the one American model that’s anti-censorship doesn’t preform that great yet. Only goes to show that there’s a severe gap on the market for consumers to get free access to knowledge.

nah, grok is nowhere near the claude, gpt, gemini trio. I mean it's not even par with the chinese open source models. Very bearish on grok models - unless they come up with a very good model soon (which thanks to the fable fiasco won't be happening anyway). Essentially, we're left with govt hard limiting innovation.

@tapodhana_ DeepSeek’s models ironically have much less censorship embedded in them than American models. We need to bring that quality and freedom to the average American consumer. Grok is trying.

@sriya_j It's a huge hit to private AI lab profits. That makes it harder to justify pouring money into research, and in the short term china will attract a lot of the talent, investment, and attention (which in turn will stop as china goes US route as well)

@ItzSuds Yes, idk why ppl glorify the shit out of trauma, most people end up on 15 meds and annual visits to the mental hospital. I will say the few who make it out of all of that with a genuine zeal and passion for life cannot be stopped, because they have nothing to lose.

New belief: Suffering is not a virtue. Pain does not shape you in a way that is better for you. You win despite of the baggage, not because of it. Most of the best, hyper successful people I know had pretty great lives, saw success early, and compounded strength to strength.

@Oneiorosgrip Be fr. If stockings were hiding leg hair, then women were already expected to hide leg hair. Women didnt “set” any standards, they just came up with a new way to meet it. The standard was set by men.

Hannah Wallen | Too Dangerous For #Facebook!
Feminists today don't realize this was started by women as a result of nylon stockings being in short supply during WWII. Women set this standard, and women perpetuated it. Now women complain and try to blame it on men. That's the extent of the feminist mindset.
Her.@Fiances_

Why are WOMEN expected to have no body hair at all when it's completely natural for both MEN and women. Where did this mindset even come from?

I’m calling it right now. I think Clavicular is going to transition. Every decision she’s making is entirely reasonable to me. These are not thoughts normal heterosexual males have.

@devinliu420 @signulll I’m building AI characters to help ppl get through hard times (romantic conflict, grief, relapse, body shame, etc) and they come to life over iMessage. I’m also working with video game designers to bring in-game characters to iMessage + FT 24/7. Only scratching the surface here.
