What type of Remedies should you follow ? There are many types of remedies in astrology. But the right remedy depends on a person’s birth chart and nature. If the problem is urgent, you cannot suggest long prayers or chanting. And if someone has a pure heart but is not the type to sit and do puja or daily prayers, then you must suggest a remedy they can actually do. Every person is different, so the remedy should also be different. It should be based on the chart, the kind of problem, and what the person is able to follow. Also, while giving a remedy, house, sign, and planet - all three should be checked. Everything must be considered carefully. This subject has many layers and is not easy to explain in one go. Sometimes, there are fixed remedies based on the dosha or curse seen in the chart. In those cases, if someone really wants to remove the problem, they must do the remedy exactly as written in the shastras. There is no shortcut in such cases. The planet causing the problem is also very important. For example, if Saturn (Shani) is the reason, then there is no quick fix. Saturn works slowly. The best remedy for Saturn is to serve others with patience and stay humble. Doing mantras or puja can help, but first one must stay grounded and ready to help others. If Mars (Mangal) is the cause, then the first step is to become physically strong. Mars gives energy and strength. You cannot solve Mars problems only by praying. You also need good habits, discipline, and a strong body. The sign involved also matters. If it is a fire sign, fire-based remedies like havan work better. If it is a water, air, or earth sign, then different remedies are needed. The astrologer giving the remedy should also have calm and clear energy. If the astrologer gives stones or rudraksha too quickly without understanding the issue, it is not right. Remedial part is the last chapter in any book of astrology . If you open any astrology book, you will find remedies in the last chapter. Why spend thousands of rupees on stones when the problem can be solved by donating just a few hundred rupees? If you cannot do prayer or puja, you can still do simple things like helping others or doing charity. Start with small and easy remedies before going for stones. Gemstones and rudraksha have clear rules. There is a proper way and proper time to wear them. If you wear the wrong stone, it can cause more problems. You cannot just think, “Sun is good, let me wear ruby.” It does not work like that. Let me share a real story. A young man was told by an astrologer to wear a ruby because Sun was his yogkaraka planet. Later, he messaged me saying he had back pain. I checked with Prashna and said someone in his family has a skin problem and he confirmed it. The simple solution was to remove the stone. After that, his back pain started getting better. Gemstones are full of energy. You should wear them only for a clear purpose and task. You must know why you are wearing the stone. Once your desired task is complete, remove the stone. Even for yogkaraka planets, there are times when you should not wear them. Timing is very important. The one more important thing of the remedial part is that if you are doing a pooja to remove some dosha, it is also important to check if God has accepted your prayer or not. This is the responsibility of the astrologer who told you to do the remedy. Always do remedies with a clear reason what you want from it, how long you will do it, and what other options you have. And sometimes, no remedy is needed at all. You just have to go through the situation and burn your past karma. You must face it. The astrologer must also tell whether a remedy is possible or not.
