Do you know what there is just not enough of in Central Scotland right now? Roadworks. They should definitely give us more of them. And potholes. Big tyre bursting potholes. Then just leave the potholes to the busiest times of year before shutting the road off to fix them. Ideal.

23 years ago today, England played Turkey at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light. The mood pre game was extremely hostile all over the city, causing chaos for most of the day of the game. 👊

It's a problem caused by FIFA allowing uncapped resales through their website. But it's still pretty shite behaviour that there's 40-50 Scotland fans selling their Scotland Supporters Club tickets at a ridiculous mark-up, ripping off fellow fans. Listing your $600 ticket at $2645 means you're asking a fellow fan to pay $3041 for your ticket! You'll 'only' see $2248 of the $3k after FIFA's fees, too. FIFA would take a further $793, after your initial $600 to buy the ticket!

Watched 2nd half of Scotland u21s vs Czechia, and it was quite concerning. Goalless draw, and a lot of talented young Scots on show, particularly Luke Graham who was excellent. But Czechs dominated & it was hard to tell what Scotland were trying to do. No discernible identity.
