Was absolutely a pleasure to be on podcast with @_soniashenoy . Enjoyed a very in depth discussion on my investment journey, investment process and for whatever it's worth on my life journey. I have discussed my successes and failures. Please take my views on timing of entry/exit and specific stock examples with a handful of salt as it's very subjective based on my analysis which can go completely wrong. Focusing on the process may be little more accurate. This was probably my longest podcast and refreshingly Sonia also touched upon things beyond investment and money. Ethos Watches operating in Watch Retail segment does operating profit of 200 Cr & PAT of 95 Cr which also includes other income of 35 Cr is at a market cap of 6500 Cr. Timex Group which is a watch maker with now production capacity reaching nearly as of Titan has done 57 Cr PAT in last 12 months & may well do about 80-90 Cr PAT is at a mcap of 2800 Cr.

Many a times financial media let alone finfluencers write about shareholding change of the Investors which most of the time is wrong. How? Many times while the no of shares of the investors remain the same it's the equity that is diluted for reasons like Esops, warrant conversion etc. When it comes to checking the Shareholding of Investors with above 1 percent Trendlyne is the best suited platform I use. While Screener also shows you the Shareholding, the key differentiator with Trendlyne is it shows the no of shares as well which gives you the clearer idea. What's astonishing is many times I have observed print media, digital media all writing about a investor reducing his stake when not a single share is sold by the investor.
