The Chuknagar massacre is among the deadliest attacks on Hindus during the 1971 war, yet it remains largely unknown. The Pakistan Army k!lled fleeing Hindus who had gathered in Chuknagar, on 20th May 1971. They moved around in 2-3 trucks equipped with semi-automatic rifles and light machine guns, and shot dead the Hindus. I am giving some witness accounts ~ 1. On 20th May 20 in 1971, thousands of people took shelter at Chuknagar Bazar, Patkhola ground under Maltia village and on the banks of the River Bhadra. Suddenly, Pakistani troops arrived from Satkhira. They first killed a farmer Chikan Morol, while he was cultivating his paddy field. 2. The Pakistani army detachment was not very large, possibly a platoon or so. Within a few minutes a lively town turned into a city of death. 3. There were bodies over bodies, thousands of bodies. I did not get any space to step out by-passing the blood-stained bodies,’ - said a witness, Anser Ali, as he recalled the memories. 4. Almost 100 people were found dead under the root of the banyan tree at the 'Kali-mondir. Later that tree was cut down for extending the temple’ ~ said another witness. 5. Another witness to the massacre, Shafiqul Islam (principal of Chuknagar College), said ~ the invading Pakistani troops had taken pos ition on two sides of the local bazaar and started firing, indiscriminately. Many of those who succeeded in evading the bullets, lost their lives in the stampede of the fleeing crowd," he told BSS.’ The tide of blood was meeting the river. l briefly halted at one place when I saw a baby girl sucking her deceased mother's breast. August 17, 1909: Veer Savarkar waited outside Pentonville Prison in England to collect the body of a 25-year-old man, who had not been handed over by the British government after his hanging. This body belonged to the great revolutionary, Madan Lal Dhingra, the son of a wealthy and prosperous family, sent to England to study by his father, a civil surgeon employed by the British government. But the flame of revolution was such that Madan Lal, along with Veer Savarkar, decided to teach a lesson to Curzon Wyllie, a British army officer who had returned to England in 1901 after committing atrocities in India. On July 1, 1909, Madan Lal Dhingra shot Curzon Wyllie at a meeting held at the Imperial Institute in England. The British government arrested him and hanged him on August 17, 1909. Madan Lal was so courageous and fearless that when he was tried in court, he clearly stated, "The British government has no right to prosecute me... I don't respect the laws of the British government that is killing millions of innocent patriots in India and bringing 100 million pounds from India to England every year. Therefore, I will not even give my explanation in this court. Do whatever you want..." And when he was being taken away after being sentenced to death, he thanked the judge and said, "Thank you for giving me the opportunity to sacrifice my life for my motherland." And you know what, there is Curzon Road in most of the cities having cantonment established by the British and the name exists till date. Civilisations have survived and kept peace only by fighting and vanquishing their enemies. Wars and conflicts have always been part and parcel of human existence. The path to peace is not through negotiation but through strength and the fear among enemies of the unacceptable cost they will have to pay if they mess with you. Negotiations have never solved conflicts but only formalised what was decided on the battlefield. The last sentence about “just settlement…” is a familiar trope used by the Pakistanis to make a case for Kashmir. Surely an ex army chief should have known better than to flog this sentence.

On one hand we have "La ilaha illallah, Muhammadur Rasulullah" There is no deity (God) but Allah and Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) is his messenger. Now compare this to "Ekam Sat Vipra Bahudha Vadanti" (एकं सद् विप्रा बहुधा वदन्ति) "Truth is one, but the wise express it in different ways." One is exclusive where only Allah is the real God and the natural intellectual outcome of this would be that other gods are not real. The other says all ways lead to the one supreme reality(truth), just that the paths are different. Blasphemy as a concept is a direct outcome of system one (La ilaha illallah) because one does not need to Blaspheme in system two because all paths lead to the truth without any need for a God. This is why I keep insisting de abrahamise your mind. Because the moment you de abrahamise, Blasphemy ceases to be a problem. Blasphemy is a problem for an exclusivist abrahamic system that wants to control you. So Blaspheme your way to intellectual glory and never stop doing it.
