I won two trips up Prescot Hillclimb course at a Bugatti Owners Club Event. The guy driving (the owners son) treated the throttle as an on-off switch, rather than an analogue device, relying soley on the cars driver aid to keep everything pointing in the right diredtion. When I commented "you can really feel it fighting for grip through the seat" he replied "no, not really". At that point my suspicions were confirmed, he was a millionare, rather than a Mansell. Run two he said "I'll switch the TC off". "Here we go, accident incoming" I thought to myself. Sure enough, exiting the Semi Circle, throttle hard to the floor, massive oversteer, up onto the grass on the inside of the corner in a massive tank slapper, over corrects, then back across the track into the Armco. It was'nt driving very straight as he drove it back the the paddock.
