This week marks the anniversary of Israel's Operation Solomon. In just 36 hours from May 24-25, 1991, over 14,000 Ethiopian Jews were rescued from the region and brought to Israel and a new home. It was one of the biggest rescue operations in Israel's history.

In the late 1970s thousands of Ethiopian Jews embarked on a treacherous journey to Israel, longing to return to their ancient homeland. Due to the dangerous route & conditions 4,000 died Today we honor and remember them. May their memory be a blessing.
