@mweinbach Claude, however, I can run through 20% of my weekly 200 max rate limit by reviewing 3 or 4 PRs on Monday morning. They’re not the same. (Using xhigh intelligence, new thread for each review).

Fun fact, you can run through 60% of a weekly ChatGPT Pro codex rate limit by using goal mode with GPT 5.5 xhigh fast in ~18 hours And frankly, that’s pretty generous

Let’s try this trend - if @sama responds I’ll swap from medium 5.5 to xhigh all of next week and share experiences (RIP my pro 200 plan). If this is the first taste of Blackwell trained models 2026 is about to get crazy again

@thsottiaux Another thing that’s not quite right - reviews. I can’t get the GitHub connector fixed on my account even though I have pro. I’ve tried re linking it many times and even asking codex to try to self solve and when I tag codex for reviews it just tells me I need to link it 🥲

@thsottiaux The thing that’s not working well for me is the cloud / local handoff. Works much better in Claude. Have to use 3rd party apps to solve that, which shouldn’t be the case

@sama I agree on API with higher context windows, but with my pro sub only having ~220k context windows it fills and summarizes way too quickly in codex. But Hermes seems to be benefiting via api

I’ve fully swapped from Claude to Codex with 5.5. @OpenAIDevs has blown it out of the park with this release. Highly suggest giving it a go - pro plan rate limits are insanely generous too, I struggle to hit them even with my crazy multi work tree development work cycle

I have a m3 max MacBook with 128 gigs of ram, but the @FrameworkPuter pro looks really compelling as a swap. I just wish there was a 16 inch option. M3 max is still beating out the Ultra X7 358H sadly

@brandenflasch When I put mine on the luggage rack of my Y, I was getting frequently up to 200 down and 20 up on the interstate. I couldn’t use the inside mounts because of the coating on the juniper though. 3rd gen full size dish.

Does Starlink perform better when angled when in motion? These speeds mounted to the underside of my Lightning sunroof while driving really aren't impressive

@dkundel @blackgirlbytes @OpenAIDevs @codex Yep, I’ve tried disconnecting the GitHub and codex side so far without luck. My GitHub account was linked to my Block enterprise codex account which got wiped during the layoffs, so my hunch is that has something to do with it but no way to check

Does anyone know how to reach a human at @OpenAIDevs who can help look into a weird issue with codex? The GitHub connector seems to be ignoring me on PRs and refusing to review even though it is linked. I keep getting stuck in bot support and unable to fix.

Very cool idea from Jorge. The best thing you can do in your career is network and make friends with like minded interests. The pay gating might feel weird at first but I think it’s going to keep the community well curated. I’m down!

Peter Steinberger is joining OpenAI to drive the next generation of personal agents. He is a genius with a lot of amazing ideas about the future of very smart agents interacting with each other to do very useful things for people. We expect this will quickly become core to our product offerings. OpenClaw will live in a foundation as an open source project that OpenAI will continue to support. The future is going to be extremely multi-agent and it's important to us to support open source as part of that.

@brandenflasch @joel_acker @SantoroSystems @JowuaLife The 14-50 is the only safe one. I’m surprised they didn’t full send it to 48a The problem people don’t realize about the 80% rule isn’t wire heat. It’s that the breaker may not trip when it’s supposed to due to the heat (may not trip at all, may trip early). That’s the danger.

@rebel1996 @brandenflasch Right, on the new one they didn’t tell me the new one is specifically supervised only but it’s whatever. I’ll just subscribe for unsupervised (if it comes to this car)

Oh on the NEW one? I see that now. In part I blame California for suing over the names of things. Tesla is their last large manufacturer, and CA just won’t stop driving them out. I remember seeing road trains of Toyota truck frames daily move through central California… all moved to Texas now. 10,000’s lost their good jobs
