@colin_dunlap @jbarker12345 Except the players have to sit on the bleachers because they didn’t make it wide enough…

@MarkMaddenX Pirates should tell Cutch to hit the bricks… except they don’t have any left.

@_adamcrowley Next man up. Standard is the standard. Even we could have gone -2 in a 6-2 win. Don’t need him now. Need him in back in March.

@ryanmouquegolf Didn’t “washed up rage bait” go away when he won the 2023 PGA while playing on LIV?
English

Legit question… this is not “rage bait”…
What’s everyone’s thoughts on Brooks Keopka now?
When he was a LIV player the narrative was he was washed up & didn’t care
Now he’s voluntarily paid his fines to come back to the PGA tour, what’s the narrative?
Is he still washed up? Still only playing for the money? Does he still care?
What we all thinking?

@MeteoMark Oh man. See if Pittsburgh can just miss the warm air. Never does. Thought for sure you’d go yellow right across the city haha

@bam_weather New subscriber. Big fan on the content. Explained very well. Quick question. What’s the difference between expected snow on the app and your graphic from today’s video. For example map has 6-10 for my location but app showing 13 and change.

Here is the official snow forecast we shared with clients this morning in our AM Video for snow totals across the OH Valley this weekend.
Some tweaks/shifts remain possible especially regarding how far north the warm nose and heavier band goes (and a potential dry slot Sat Night). Stay tuned for updates and a new video on Clarity this afternoon: claritywx.com/sign-up!

@MeteoMark Can you explain the hurricane hunter thing? Is this new for winter storms?

@KDPomp hey Pomp, long time listener, first time tweeter.
Didn’t know if you had heard about Baldwin HS junior Michael Quallich and his playing in the Pro-Junior portion of the Pure Championship at Pebble this week.

@MarkMaddenX why aren’t kickers making the ball land past the 20 and short of the goal line, without letting the opposing team catch it, every time?
English

@MarkMaddenX We should have traded Watt, we shouldn’t have resigned Geno. That would have been good for business. I know Sid controls most of it, but where is the line of generational talent vs business for you?
English

@PAWeatherPlus I don’t think that’s quite true. The problem is weather apps that base their forecast solely on a future cast radar. See pic. Future cast looked awful, but meteorologists shouldn’t allow wording like this. Tough to be off by 3 inches of rain. Pgh area at 930a

UNDERSTANDING THE FORECAST...
No matter what the scenario, in the end, it seems like the meteorologist is to blame! Today is a perfect day to remind you what a day of 'scattered' thunderstorms means. This is a graphic showing the total precipitation since around noon this afternoon. As you can see, there are pockets of precipitation (especially heavier precipitation in the yellows, oranges, and reds) while there are also similar-sized pockets of no precipitation. Most areas either got completely missed or absolutely drenched and flooded out. No matter what, it seems like both are complaining about the forecasting being wrong- but in the end, it panned out as forecasted! When scattered thunderstorms are forecasted, some areas will get hit (possibly very hard), while others miss out and end up with no precipitation. Even on 'numerous' precipitation days, you may not see precipitation, but there should be fewer and sparser dry areas. I have an amazing graphic pinned to the profile explaining the different precipitation coverage words and how they look visually. Remember, the world doesn't always revolve around your neighborhood and and about 95% of thunderstorm setups, there is no guarantee you will get hit while others around you get slammed and flooded out! To those who were flooded out this afternoon, I send you my positive wishes, and please reach out if you need me to share your support resource pages! ⛈️
