Met her at a coffee shop and she gave me her number to visit her at work to show me how they use frequency etc to help with addiction but I texted her to ask her out instead and then a year later asked her to marry me on our anniversary and just got married a month ago!:)

I met my wife at church. We were married 11 weeks later. Her English wasn't great and to this day she will claim she might have been tricked due to her not understanding the implications of my proposal. It took us 3 hours to have a 20 minute conversation. Here we are over 28 years later.

Leg surgery #8 hopefully the last. New femur implant, new knee, new sealants. Lots of updates. Advice: Take time to find the right expert and fight your insurance company like hell to see them. There is no substitute for the best in their field.

@tajer_amir Few years ago I offered to pay asking on a house in cash and the agent came back to me with a 10% higher price. My next offer was lower than my first and then was accepted. It’s such a stupid game.

2016 LR4 HSE, V6 supercharger, 65.9k miles Official dealer got it on a trade in and listed it on the website for$20k. I offered $14k and they accepted. "But Allen, this is a ~$35k vehicle, what's the catch?" Rebuilt title - the car was stolen in 2017 and later recovered.

Dealer cleaned it up quite a bit before I picked it up. The main thing downside of all this, I'm told, is it'll be hard to sell one day. So, need to drive it into the ground. Also, might have been used in a crime or something when it was stolen (no circumstances given)

M&T the only bank stock I own lol. One of the few banks that didn't cut it's div during the 07-09 mess. Their annual reports are some of the best and are worth reading even if you don't care about banks.

Too cool not to share: Mexico City is an amazing getaway for anyone in the Southern US, consider it! We went for 4 nights and got to do some incredible activities including hot air balloons over the Teotihuacán Pyramids, riding a river boat in Xochimilco, and great tacos!
