Sterling Heights, MI, joins a list of other Detroit suburbs that will convert dying malls into town centers. Lakeside Mall will be redeveloped into 2,800 new housing units and a town center. Converting dead malls is an easy way to create town centers in the suburbs.

In my opinion, more than 75% of every urban planning, architecture, and landscape architecture program today should focus on “SPRAWL REPAIR”.
The work is endless.

@LorcanaFanatics I liked playing a 'high 5' blue-green aggro deck with Detective Mickey to ramp to 5 and the big blue Maleficent and Kuzco on the top end. No card draw (except maybe Mad Hatter) but it was simple, fun and fast.

With China and Japan starting with Disney Lorcana Set 1: The First Chapter, it’s going to fun to see if they develop a different meta or quickly converge into Amber Steel and Ruby Amethyst. What was your favorite deck to play socially or competitively in Set 1?

And there’s the strong possibility that all this arose - after the space had not been open to the public & the city finally decided to redevelop this school site - simply because the guy leasing it is trying to hold onto the driveway to a parking spot behind his storefront

Halloween 2024 called for the Blue Wall and opposing local propositions led by NIMBYs and former #a2council members who think racial diversity is “just looks.” And with over 400 trick-or-treaters, our house passed the walkable neighborhood test.
