Mads got a makeover! 💚🐘 Evernote has evolved significantly in the past couple years, and it’s going to change even more with v11 coming soon. We couldn’t release a new version without giving our beloved green elephant—that’s Mads!—a little love. We hope you like her new look, and we can’t wait for you to experience v11.

@fedesimio Can we look forward to any innovation in terms of capture to Evernote? I like to see web clipper innovation (speed, maybe AI at point of capture, a return to pretty auto-formatting of notes from key sites/tools). Also capture to Evernote by talking to my phone and watch.

Here’s a challenge the Evernote team can’t solve alone… Should we optimize for consistency or for logic? When a user moves a note to a different notebook, it’s “updated” even though the content hasn’t changed. Not a huge issue, but it’s irritating. Because the newest, most relevant notes get buried below much older ones. The solution seems obvious: change the logic. But it’s not that simple. This is how Evernote has functioned for years, and it’s what users know. So the team has a hard call to make. Optimize for consistency or for logic? How would you tackle the problem?

@zapier I can't get any of my zaps to load. I can't get your help center to load. Down detector says your service is functional. I can surf the web other than Zapier just fine. How do I get help and access to my account????

So far in 2025, we’ve made major investments to strengthen Evernote’s note editor. Our goal: to make it easier and faster for you to write, organize, and retrieve your notes. Here are some of the latest updates: 📄 New Templates experience: Create your own or use ones from the gallery 💬 Custom default fonts: Set your preferred style and have it stick 🖼️ A refreshed PDF and image editing experience 🗑️ A better workflow for moving and deleting notes, with an improved Move modal, Undo button, and more ✍️ Improved markdown support for clean formatting when pasting from elsewhere ☝️ Smarter slash commands: use / even in headers and tables without breaking your flow We’re already working on what’s next—and we’d love your input. What’s one note-editing feature you wish Evernote had (or did better)? Drop a comment and let us know 👇

I’m not sure what the meaning of life is, but it must have something to do with children. Welcome to this world, my little baby girl ❤️

@jayclouse @tferriss If only they would integrate with Kit….i’m concerned by them being closed to this. It’s a red flag on an otherwise positive Circle experience.

@tferriss I’ve spent the better part of a decade doing online community and Circle is the clear answer unless you’re trying to create more of a “chat” feel (eg discord)

@swift_davi91462 This is definitely not expected behavior nor anything me nor my customers experience. I can certainly understand how this would impact your app choice though if that has been your experience. Best of luck with whatever app you chose.

@staceyharmon Evernote n'enregistre pas automatiquement les notes. J'ai arrêté de payer. J'avais trop de notes qui disparaissaient avant que j'ai pu les enregistrer. Je devais a chaque fois faire une copie de ce que j'écrivais

@fedesimio Love this direction. Regarding the title drag/drop…what I *really* want is for everything that is subordinate to the title to drag with it. I want to quickly move whole sections around. Will that be possible?

@evernote But still we cannot filter for our ownnotes we shared (e.g. per public link sharing). We cannot find them because there is no filter or search query for that.

A while back, we introduced the ability to leave a shared note or notebook—but what if you want to keep the content and just declutter your workspace instead? That’s where our newest filter comes in! Now, you can easily filter out shared content from your notes and notebooks list via the Filter menu.

Sometimes, good things must come to an end. 👋💚 Say goodbye to the shared notes and notebooks you no longer use! This new action is available in v10.106 on Desktop/Web and v10.107 on Mobile.

Some people shared that the button to transcribe an image on Evernote is annoying because it covers part of the image. Fixing that soon!

📚 Choose how you sort individual notebooks! No two notebooks are the same—so why should you sort them the same way? Now you can individually sort each notebook in your account based on your unique content needs. The best part? Your preferences are preserved between sessions and across devices. This improvement is rolling out now as part of v10.111 on Desktop, Mobile, and Web.

Next week the Evernote mobile update will include a ~3x loading time improvement of the Notes section, and all the note lists (including rendering the list of notes inside a notebook)! The first, of many, gift from the shiny new Performance team 🎁

Our team @kit is heading to Austin this week along with our friends at @SparkLoopHQ and @WhoSponsorsHQ, and we want to connect with creators who mean business. Who should we connect with in Austin this week and next? Bonus if you know the best place in Austin for tacos 🌮
