Huge congratulations to blind veteran Simon, who was sworn in as the new Mayor of Morley - a proud moment for him and his family! Simon lost his sight in 2006 while serving as a corporal in Iraq. Since then, we've been privileged to support him in rebuilding his life. In a show of gratitude, Simon has chosen Blind Veterans UK and the Leeds Rhinos Foundation as his charities to support during his mayoral year. Simon is an admirable advocate for our charity, helping us reach more blind veterans in need of our support.
