I want to clarify your opening statement that we are a nation of laws. We are no longer a nation of laws, we are a nation of will. We currently lack the will to uphold the laws, defend the laws or hold those accountable that break the laws. Neither the Legislative or Judicial branch have the will to uphold the laws regarding immigration.

The topic of immigration is simple. We are a nation of laws, and you can only be here if we have invited you. Immigration is an issue in 2026, only because American elites have lied, rug-pulled and gaslit the public for over 50 years. The American people have a generosity of spirit unmatched in the history of the world. It is our elites who have lied, cheated and stolen from the population such that terms like Mass Deportations are now necessary. That was not our choice. It was the Chamber of Commerce - their lying puppets in Congress who made this necessary. If this issue is unpleasant, look at them and hold them in the contempt they deserve. But this is our country. It is worth fighting for. And that is why I and @redstateslead are proud to be part of this coalition of patriots.

I am a proud member of this coalition. This is what we voted for, it is what Trump promised and this coalition intends to help build a roadmap and strategy to assist in carrying out that promise. The question is not if this is possible, the question is, do we have the will to see it through. The future of our Republic depends on it!

There is a serious constitutional crisis when the legislative branch of the federal government is unable to legislate because of self-imposed ‘extra-constitutional’ rules and procedures. The Byrd Rule… named for a long-dead Democrat leader who appears to control the Senate from the grave. The filibuster rule that can’t work because of some long ago interpretation of the filibuster process. The question is whether the Senate leaders will continue to allow their foolish adherence to arcane rules and procedures to create this constitutional crisis. They say they won’t “nuke” the filibuster. But they also won’t overturn the long ago ruling by a parliamentarian who “interpreted” the 2-speech rule to mean the filibuster can never ever end. As we have had to learn more about the Senate rules, it is becoming increasingly clear that the Senate is refusing to protect the filibuster by overturning the interpretation that makes the filibuster impossible to end without a supermajority. That’s a constitutional crisis and rather than seriously address the issue and the procedures and the rules, the Senators left town. So disgraceful. We will know soon enough where these Senators went if they traveled during the recess. How many went on junkets. Who had fundraising trips. What they did rather than face their responsibilities. Like funding DHS. Like securing our elections. Like addressing this constitutional crisis they have allowed to take over the Senate and that they refuse to remedy. This is not what the voters bargained for. This irresponsible bunch of Senators who refuse to protect the Senate and ensure its ability to function to serve the people. They’re mad at @BasedMikeLee for calling this all into public view. On full display so we now see it - understand it. And hate it. But he’s not the problem. They just didn’t want the public to ever find out. But now we know. And we are disgusted. @EIwatchdogs @BasedMikeLee @chiproytx

Under federal rules, the following can count as “ID” to register to vote: Utility bill Bank statement Rental receipt Not proof of citizenship. Not even necessarily government-issued ID. That doesn't just violate common sense, it's dangerous. It's a wide-open invitation for noncitizens to register. Because it doesn’t verify who should be voting. It doesn't enforce the law that only citizens can vote in American elections. The SAVE America is common sense legislation that requires proof of citizenship to register to vote via: ☑️ a birth certificate ☑️ a U.S. passport ☑️ Naturalization papers If these documents cannot be provided, the registrant may sign an affidavit. Pass the SAVE America Act!

That story from The Hill about GOP Senators fighting over how to pass the SAVE America Act is actually good news. It means the GOP Conference has moved from ignoring or outright disdain and dismissal of the bill to fighting about it. And HOW to pass it. That is huge progress! As they start fighting over specific provisions, that gives us a chance to start offering ideas and amendments that everyone can live with. I have an entire set of ideas about each provision of the bill and ways to accomplish each provision in different ways. This is called legislating. That’s what the legislative process is normally. It’s just that the U.S. Senate has totally forgotten how to do it. The world’s “greatest deliberative body” hasn’t actually deliberated in a very long time. It’s good to see those rusty wheels starting to turn in the Senate. And that is necessarily going to create some grinding noises. Keep the pressure on the GOP to carry on with debating and focusing time on the bill on the Senate floor. And call every Democrat and tell him/her to stop lying about the bill and get on board.
