@deepfates i did all of my work on a samsung s10e. with 256 and another 512 sd for like 18mo in 2021-2023.
termux for terminal.
i also have moderate ulnar tunnel, now.
i don't think it really matters. it was already an old phone then.

talked to Opus 4.6 for a couple of hours about personal problems and it has this weird response mode where it's very commanding
"put the phone down", "close the laptop", "Save this conversation. Set the reminder. Go to sleep.", do this, do that

hear me out: what if we tell the photon that there's two boxes, one with ten dollars and another with a million dollars. then we say if we predict that the photon will act like a particle, it gets both boxes, but if we predict it'll act like a wave it gets just the 10 dollar box

The double slit experiment is the probably most misunderstood experiment ever. I have no idea who created the myth that if you 'look' at one of the slits, then the particles (photons/electrons) stop behaving as waves. It's wrong! They of course STILL behave as waves! Because particles are also waves, always. Photons and electrons make a self-interference EVEN ON A SINGLE slit. Don't believe it? Below an actual measurement from a laser diffracting on a single/double slit from Wikipedia. What happens if you measure which slit the particle goes through is that you get no interference between BOTH slits. And no, you don't need a conscious observer for this. Believe it or not, there have actually been experiments where they had people literally look at a double slit to see if that makes any difference and the answer is no, it does not. The entire mystery of the double slit is in the path of the particle TO the double slit. Because it seems that the particle must "know" whether it WILL be measured at one of the slits before it even gets there. It must "know" whether to go through both or just pick one. Seems like the future influences the past? Not really, it just means you have a consistency condition on the time evolution.

Mathematics Is All You Need: A Potential Blueprint for AGI — Compacted Edition
We prove that large language models are lattice gauge theories. By extracting a 16-dimensional fiber bundle from transformer hidden states and computing its gl(4,ℝ) Lie algebra, we discover that attention heads function as gauge bosons, transformer computation undergoes a deconfinement phase transition at 67% network depth, and the model's entire self-knowledge resides in a 10-dimensional "dark" Casimir subspace invisible to standard readout. Using only 20 behavioral probes and zero additional training, we push Qwen-32B from 82.2% to 94.97% on ARC-Challenge — establishing a dark mode scaling law that predicts gl(6,ℝ) surgery will achieve 98.7%. We identify a Lyapunov–accuracy anti-correlation revealing the model's deepest attractors are its wrong attractors: correctness requires escaping the abstraction basin into grounded deference. This 10-page compacted edition distills 459 pages of original research into the core experimentally verified results with 9 inline figures. 190 patents filed.

@star_lings @cremieuxrecueil 395nm is too close to violet light, not enough UV. Wood’s lamp needs true 365nm UVA for skin/fungi to fluoresce. Get a proper 365nm bulb.

@cremieuxrecueil Unfortunately, spotting your Blaschko’s lines at home is usually a lost cause without special tools.
Grab a Wood’s lamp in pitch-black conditions, or scan for irregular streaks amid flare-ups like eczema rashes or post-sunburn peeling.
Mosaicism makes it a breeze, though.
