Announcing StarSling Runners: self-driving CI 💫
StarSling Runners are an AI-native drop-in replacement for ubuntu-latest. Just install our GitHub App and swap out the runs-on line in your workflows and StarSling agents do a deep scan of your CI setup and start shipping optimizations.
Since switching to StarSling, customers like @better_auth and @mastra have gotten over 82% faster GitHub Actions.
Head over to starsling.dev to join the waitlist!

@the_og_karan We give you more powerful machines so your tests run faster, and then we have AI agents that open up PRs to optimize your workflows to get you even more speed ups.
It makes the most sense for companies with large codebases and many jobs and tests (like Better Auth and Mastra).

@bekacru @starslingdev Can someone explain what AI native CI/cd even means? About to start a massive new project so trying to decide the stack.

@ivanburazin @zenorocha We’d love to help you all speed up your GHA!

before our main repo had an average of ~20-40 open PRs on any given day.
now, we average ~130-200 open PRs.
apart from reviews, CI/CD is also becoming a bottleneck.
builds are too slow. humans shouldn't be waiting.

the cost of opening a PR has dropped to zero. now, we have tons of draft PRs waiting for a finite (and ultra precious) resource: attention. turns out the bottleneck is no longer creation. it's reviewing.

HUGE props to @yonasbe and @dbworku for helping us speed up our CI! PLUS the starsling bot continually finding optimizations for us.
At Mastra we move so fast that the bottleneck becomes reviews and CI. Time spent compounds and @starslingdev helps you realize how much time you spent waiting.

engineers at larger companies can spend up to 20-30% of their time on boring tasks (maybe even more time than that)
many of these tasks happen outside of code editors
stuff like looking up issues, managing deployments, performance, etc
but what if you could just, e.g, debug an issue with a single click?
and reclaim all that time?

Huge fan of @tbpn (the only tech podcast I listen to regularly).

We caught up with @yonasbe and @dbworku from @starslingdev, building Cursor for DevOps. Its agentic developer homepage automates all the tasks that eat up a developer’s time after they’ve left their code editor (deployments, performance, incidents, and bugs).
