🚗 This guy explains how his truck has been sending all his driving data to his insurance company without him knowing about it, and then he shows exactly how to turn it off in the settings. He has a Ford F-150, but there’s probably a similar setting in your vehicle if it’s connected to the internet. It’s a quick reminder of how much is being tracked these days… and how easy it can be to protect yourself if you just know where to look. Have you ever checked your own vehicle settings for anything like this, or found out your car was sharing data you didn’t expect? Note: he says that he may have opted in to sharing his data without knowing it.

@DamnAnimals Oh wow, that's not very often at all. It makes no wonder there are many dumping sites being seen.

@stary1019 Just checked the calendar and bulk dates for our area are April 21 & November 3. Twice a year. The major frustration in our area is that while fees increase, service and access seems to decrease. It's creating a huge problem and repeated pleas for solutions fall on deaf ears.

Unfortunately illegal dumping is seeing a dramatic increase in the Southern Shore area, and while I obviously don't condone it, it comes back to the poor management and draconian policies of an out of touch Eastern Regional Services Board. Witless Bay Line this morning:

This video was taken by Bev Sheppard Bennett just a few minutes ago. Bev says the fire is being worked on via helicopters that are dropping water on it. Well it’s official. (Long read, I’m Sorry) It will be just 2 weeks shy of 2 years since I was put off work for medical reasons. It will as a Choice I did not want to make. I fought to stay working living my same old Life. Because my mental health and addiction told me I was better off living this life then trying to fix it. The choice was made for me when the Wound Care professional told me I had two choices. Work for a few months or until I have to loose my legs. Even then the demon that is a mental health was telling me to not listen to her. You all know the story, I’m so blessed to have been able to tell it to you all. It’s been be of the best ways of healing myself. Having tried to hide it, felling that I would be seen as a failure once again if I quit on myself. It’s funny how it all works for a reason. I always said I didn’t need @Schwarzenegger to retweet me. But turns out I did. It’s because of that I found a family and community with my Gym and its community. He gave me the confidence to believe in myself that I could do this. Many of you followed me because of his retweet of me after my photo of me loosing my first 50lbs and have stuck with me and supported me ever since! Thank you! Because in any type of battle. You are successful when you have strength in numbers, and army of people and Support that stands behind you through thick and thin. The greatest outcome of that all is have you all of you, people from around the globe enter my life and encourage and support me every step of the way. My pocket friends and family. You also allowed me to tell me story and continue to tell my story(still lots more work to go) with an open ear and Heart. I already had a strong team of my wife Angie, and close family and Friends. You helped turn my life around. I am beyond thankful for each and everyone of you. To date I have lost over 240lbs in 21 months. I went from almost being bedridden to walking 5-10km a day. Going to the gym 5-6 days a week. Growing food in a positive view not using it as a negative. With that being said. November 18th I officially start my Gradual Return to work and full Duties. It’s time. It’s time to get back to some normalcy, this is why I worked hard. To be able to contribute to my family properly and enjoy the next phase of my life. I hope to still be able to tell my story in hopes of inspiring people to believe they are stronger than they think. No matter how bad you think your life is, there is a better one. It may take some work. But YOU can do anything. There are people that are ready to help you do the heavy lifting. But in the end you need to believe in yourself and full be prepared to put the work in. You don’t have to be perfect. Consistency wins. Love you all
