His personal X posts (Dec 2023-Feb 2024, account named him as teacher) included: "If you don’t respect our laws, culture and way of life you should leave"; "They can live in societies where their values are accepted... Leave. You won’t be missed"; and "Deploy the navy" replying to a post on migrant boats. TRA panel reviewed 13 posts, found 6 offensive + lacking tolerance (not racist/sexist), noted remorse, deleted posts, spotless record, and recommended no ban. DfE overruled, citing serious impact on profession's reputation. He was fired June 2024; can apply to lift ban after March 2028.
