@brandenflasch Electric stoves are a non-starter. Gas stoves allow you to micro adjust heat when cooking instantly. The stoves also are more efficient in getting hot instantly…and off instantly. Having had both electric and gas stoves… it’s a non-starter brainer.

@brandenflasch I have a gas range but after using an induction cook top in my camper I think I'm going to replace it as soon as it wears out. Being able to boil water in 15 seconds is a game changer.

Screen protectors give you this false sense of security. The screen protector breaks and you think it saved the actual screen from getting damaged.
When in reality the Tesla screen is way more durable than a random piece of glass you got on amazon.

@Robotbeat @hansaFL It's not though, because you force everyone else to stop to make a gap for you. A zipper merge would mean finding an open gap that doesn't require the thru lane to slow but you don't want to do that because you're too important to merge that far back.

Zipper merge is always correct, BTW. It’s the best overall for everyone. People seem to have this idea that picking a personally-“selfish” option means you’re doing something at the expense of the group, but in fact the global optimum in this case IS the “selfish” option.

This guy is using the left hand lane , which is open. There is a mile long backup and everyone is over in the right hand lane. He drives all the way up until he has to merge. Some people are saying what a jerk he is for not getting in line like everyone else, but a great many people are saying that the cars in the right lane merged into one lane too soon and that if they had used the left lane, instead of being a mile backup it would have been a half a mile backup. What’s your take? Do you think he was correct in using the left lane and merging up at the front or should he have merged right and got in line way in the back like everyone else?
