Population increasing more than housing is the issue not the selling off of council houses. Easier divorces also affects the amount of houses required as more people live alone now

The village I grew up in. Pre 1980 it was 285 acres. Now it's 572 acres. That's 287 extra acres of housing. No new schools or shops, and they actually demolished the college and moved it to a big town 15 miles north

Workmen turn up an hour late to do some scaffolding at home. I left them to it but couldn’t see them actually doing the job. 20 mins later I locate them in a quiet corner of the garden having quite a large lunch. Anyone else had a similar experience?
