@SW_Help delayed train from Putney to Windsor changed platforms with 2 minutes notice. Came up on the board and I asked the staff to announce it. They didn’t seem interested and so everyone had to run last minute.
@networkrail just to say, your member of staff currently managing the broken level crossing at Datchet has been really helpful, apologetic and polite when being asked about the train problems. A credit to your company
@SW_Help Are they running though? It’s saying the 730 and 757 are cxlld but one just went through and staff working on the crossing are saying they are running
@SW_Help Do you have an update as to whether any London bound trains are going to run as staff here are saying it shouldn’t be too much longer but will the trains stop then or run fast through the station?
@stef_dexter Hello, this is due to the problem at the level crossing the line is currently blocked, we do have ticket acceptance in place for Great Western Railway to Slough from Windsor and Eton Central. ^GG
@SW_Help They are saying they don’t know. Is the 757 running? Would be good to know if we will be able to get to work and make alternative arrangements if not?
@stef_dexter Hello Stef, the next service should be the 14:47 which is currently delayed by 10 minutes, the next service after this id due at 15:17. ^LJ
Hi Stef, at the moment this train is still planned to run however the inbound service is delayed so please listen to announcements and look at departure boards for departure times. You can also keep up to date with live updates on our live tracker page here: avantiwestcoast.co.uk/travel-informa… - Beth
@stef_dexter Hi Stef, I'm very sorry for the inconvenience today. One of the cancellations is due to a shortage of train crew, and the other is due to a train fault in the depot. ^LB
@SW_Help please can you advise why the 1547 and 1617 from Putney to Staines have been cancelled? It’s a difficult enough journey this week with no trains between Windsor and Staines
