some fun facts about me & sleep: -the longest stretch of sleep I’ve had since 2020 is a single 5 hour stretch and 9 nights I had a 4 hour stretch (yes I know it was 9 times because each one was a documented miracle) -newborn sleep stage is when I get the most sleep (3 hour chunks) -my babies all wake up every 30-90 minutes the entire night arouns 6/7 weeks and onward until at least 12mo. - I have virtually been waking up between 1-3 hours all night, every night, for almost 6 years STRAIGHT. does anyone else out there function on this amount of sleep? Does anyone else have babies that will not sleep longer than that? I’m completely exhausted but no one seems to have good sleeping advice other than leave them to cry. I don’t know what to do …all my other goals seem impossible while being in such a state of constant sleep deprivation.

@sim_kiever @stefiegriff I have glass Philips avent bottles yes Yes she was hungry. I left her with my mom while I did a work thing and she would have normally been nursing at that time.

@maternalgroyp @sim_kiever MAM makes a good size 0 nipple that mimics the shape of an actual nipple and the flow isn't too much. Anyone else tried giving her a bottle? Maybe if dad or someone else tried, she may take it since she won't be thinking about boobies 🤷‍♀️😂 I would say just exposure after that.

These people in Gwinnett County want to play ball! I requested a freedom of information on the new ELA teacher they posted a picture of in full niqab. They announced her as a new hire at Duluth high school. The only education we could see for her online is the Medina Institute where she learned Islamic and the Quran. Which is not an accredited institute to get any kind of future certification to teach in Georgia  Therefore, we wanted to see her qualification. This is how much they wanted to charge me.  I guess this is where we involve the lawyers since they want to play games.  I’m waiting for confirmation that this was a typo. 

@maternalgroyp @sim_kiever You can also pump & do half+half that way they get used to it. There's definitely ways to do it. I didn't introduce formula to any of mine until around 9 months. One liked it cold, one liked it perfectly 98 degrees. Both liked diff nips. Sleep improved so much every time.

@made_in_cosmos Sleep needs are genetic. I feel like my kids need so much sleep to function properly. 3 hrs naps + 9-10 hrs at night.

I don't understand how people put their kids to bed at 7pm. The earliest I ever managed was around 8ish, and then they started waking me up at 5am. Now I gave up and they sleep around 10-7. Everyone tells me little kids need much more sleep, but mine must have missed the memo.

@marcorandazza I've lived in dirt poor trailer parks with nothing but whites and maybe a couple of Hispanics and it was always quiet besides kids playing outside, everyone kept to themselves and were very polite. Its not about money at all.

We see all of these good spirited and well-behaved Scottish soccer fans and we think there must be something better about Scotland But you have to factor in the fact that the cost of a plane ticket and a trip to the United States for a couple of weeks (not to come here and collect welfare forever) filters out the bottom quintile. look at New York and you see that bottom quintile on the street rioting because the Knicks won. It should help you think about what the problem really is We have re-ordered society to cater to the bottom quintile And they hold you hostage far worse than the top 1%

My kids love breakfast for dinner but I HATE making pancakes. I saw this idea on a reel and it’s basically a miracle. In the oven for like 10 mins, practically no clean up. Left is jam and fresh strawberries and right is choc chip. I’ve also done blueberry and cinnamon sugar
