@LisaForteUK I was in the same boat with xrays. 8 months after, and a failed data subject access request, I still hadnt gotten them. Only a summarised report

So apparently the MRI scan I paid for I’m not allowed to be sent the report!?! They will send it to a Dr but not me. I know some will say it’s for xyz reasons, heard them all, understand them but don’t agree. I paid for it, I want to be able to take it to a dr I pick

If you want to start a fintech that touches anything in the UK, you need government approval before you can even pilot your service with the users consent. Upa degrowth I suppose

The UK requires a whole bunch of pointless bureaucracy before the people are even allowed to consent to their data being used. You can register for plaid in the US, and give your customers the choice to share their bank account data with you in a a few hours. Let people choose

the worst thing (in very recent history) that the uk has done, is convince people that businesses are bad and are out to get them

If you aren’t trying to run local models, why would you not have a Neo/ultralight and a GMKTec or Beelink to remote into? What are the real reasons not to?

If a london fog is earl grey, vanilla syrup, and steamed milk then a NYC fog must be coffee, pizza grease, and the steam coming out of the manhole

This is a masterclass from Air Portugal trying to actively make sure no-one flies with them. Tried to login to my account, wrong password (I'm sure the password was correct). Try to reset my password. Email to reset the password never arrives. Trying to register as new user. JS error every time when editing a required field. Switching to mobile and trying to register. Flow simply doesn't complete on last page. Clicking continue doesn't do anything. Like what the hell guys?

We had an agent critique our API. The recommendation was clear: Stop nesting the routes! It made sense, so we gave it the go ahead to implement the recommendation. Twenty minutes later it was done. public.3.basecamp.com/p/njmKUBfBAJkf…

@brankopetric00 Move to a new company. Increasing your dev headcount by 25% when you should be using a product like @porterdotrun is absurd. 4 developers, and a platform that isnt already under real load is rarely the time for an infra hire

New startup. You're the first infrastructure hire. CTO wants the platform ready in 3 months. Option A: Kubernetes from day one - Future-proof - Steep learning curve - Longer initial setup - Easier to scale later Option B: Simple ECS + Fargate - Faster to production - Less operational overhead - Might need migration later - AWS lock-in Option C: Just EC2 + Docker Compose - Fastest MVP - Manual scaling - Technical debt guaranteed - Cheapest short-term Team size: 4 developers (none with K8s experience) Expected growth: 10x users in 12 months Funding: Series A secured What's your recommendation?

@thdxr is there anywhere to see what models people prefer with @opencode? Cycling through providers and wondering which to try next

@sammcallister @dhh @xpasky @opencode I dont think ive cancelled a subscription as quick in my life after reading this absolute load of codswallop. Anthropic made a bad call. Time will tell if they can drop their ego and just admit it 🤷🏼‍♂️

@dhh @xpasky @opencode "when you feel like it" No, a terms violation? Do you think we shouldn't enforce our terms? If anyone wants to use Claude models, they simply use the API. The one thing we should've done better here is tell end users sooner, as they might not have known. x.com/trq212/status/…

Yesterday we tightened our safeguards against spoofing the Claude Code harness after accounts were banned for triggering abuse filters from third-party harnesses using Claude subscriptions.

I love the models Anthropic are offering, but I seriously hope it's a mistake that they're blocking alternative harness providers, like @opencode, from working with their subscriptions. Seems very customer hostile. github.com/anomalyco/open…

Can the @claudeai ios team stop deleting a message that has been sent, and the response has started streaming? Undoing the send and pasting the initial message in the input field is such a pain in the ass/horrible ux

American sandwiches are the best in the world. Nobody else comes close. As an American on vacation, there is no point ordering sandwiches anywhere, you will just find that they are worse than the American version

I respect what you do but when it comes to companies as large as these you have no idea what you’re talking about

I think @OfficialLoganK should be Google's next CEO A young fresh guy coming from the AI world fully dedicated to AI should be leading the company that wants to lead in AI He's multi-disciplinary having been both an ML engineer, working for NASA and OpenAI and also doing product leadership with customers on here directly implementing stuff we ask for while agressively cutting through Google's bureaucracy Exactly what Google needs for the long term

4 months of chatgpt/codex and a usage limit wasnt hit once. 1 day of being back on claude code, and its been hit twice. Product output isnt any better with claude code either. Time to move on. Who is next?

@forgebitz I think “first X of users” is based on when you signed up and “top X% of messages sent” is closer to the actual usage metric. Im top 5% of messages sent at 3k messages which tbf isnt great for the median stats either
