So cool to find this photograph of my grandfather James Mason (with my grandmother Pamela and Richard Burton) at the desk he built at our house on Pamela Drive and I now have in my bedroom today!!
@masner just watched the episode of the MTM show where Mary gets addicted to sleeping pills and your Dad’s character is determined to help her stop. When he sings an Irish lullaby to help her sleep, I thought it was so sweet. Your Dad was so talented🥰🙏🏻
@noirgal17 Tomorrow is my lucky grandsons 3rd birthday
the lucky part was it was not today April 1st.
As a kindness if you have good thoughts for him tomorrow that would be appreciated.
Being movie lovers we good thoughts for Thelma Ritter today
@HollywoodYeste1 I win! I really did take a header this morning going for coffee in the hotel. Carpet is very uneven and I tripped getting into the elevator and was catapulted head-long into the opposite wall. Fortunately, my head broke the fall! 🤣
April 1 calls for a day of falls… please share your favorite gifs or pictures of falls from television or movies.
I’ll start with the classic Melvyn Douglas fall in Ninotchka (1939)… a great dramatic actor but also a genius at comedy!
@noirgal17 I liked when Eileen Heckart as Mrs. Baker as the concerned mother in Butterflies Are Free. She gave me ''There are none so blind as those will not see.'' I like how her character wrote books to inspire her son Don. I first saw it on Movie Of The Week in the 1970's
@noirgal17@tadool That is the same look I have this morning when I look out and see another 5 to 6 inches of snow that came in overnight... springtime in the Rockies😵💫🇨🇦
Today, we remember fallen member Staff Sgt. Keith Harrison, who lost his life in the line of duty after responding to a holdup alarm at a nearby credit union. When he was unable to request backup because of a radio malfunction, he attempted to follow the culprits’ vehicle.
On March 12, 1976, a shootout ensued & Staff Sgt. Harrison was struck in the abdomen. He succumbed to his injuries hours later on the operation table.
A 16-year member of the Service, Staff Sgt. Harrison had recently been promoted to Staff Sergeant of Detectives & taught law to new police recruits. He was survived by his wife & two teenage children.
The life of a police officer can be ended at moment’s notice. Their loss shall be forever remembered.
Bob Homme delighted generations of Canadians as The Friendly Giant.
While he was born in the United States, he adopted Canada as his home and Canada was a better place because of it.
Let's look up...waaaaay up...
This is the story of his life.

When I go to a baseball game I remove my cap for the national anthem. This guy can't take his stupid hat off in a moment honoring the war dead? GTFO. How do people keep defending this classless assclown?
