Today, I graduated with a PhD from the University of Nottingham! Though I was once rejected from medical colleges, I never gave up on my dream of becoming a doctor. Today, I am a doctor - not a physician, but a PhD! Dreams can be achieved in many forms. #PhD #NeverGiveUp

@stelwards It's horrendous and I hope they are all safe. I get frustrated about the angle the media take: "Nicola McCullen, 46, from Kilmarnock, slept on a mattress outside" "The couple ended sleeping on tablecloths on the floor of a conference room on Saturday night" Minor hardships...

People's homes and livelihoods are being destroyed - sleeping on a mattress on the floor is not a real hardship for a night or two. I obviously hope people get home; but at least they still have a home. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-662823…

Really nice talk by @NikkiW_Hortic at the @nottm_bbsrc_dtp spring conference 23. The genetic uniformity of wheat (uniform like stormtroopers!) needs new genetic diversity. By breaking the gametocidal gene, can we get this from Aegilops sharonensis? @Notts_WRC @SurbhiG6
