even though i was able to teach myself coding from basically nothing to a $350k amazon swe job, i could have gone much faster if i dropped my ego and asked/paid for help. not making the same mistake again heavily investing into paid consulting/coaching to becoming world class at marketing (paid ads, sales calls, funnels), hiring, youtube

@OrionSeven With an ideal customer you can tailor your message to them. Plus you spend less time explaining how your product works (as they already have some knowledge) and get a better conversion because it resonates with them

The biggest mistakes I made in my first startup was planning an MVP far too large. The root cause for that was I didn’t figure out my ideal customer profile. Instead of building for everyone I should have built for someone specific which would have let me build far less.
