🚨🇳🇴 Norway midfielder Morten Thorsby has called on FIFA to do more to protect players from 'extreme heat' at this summer's World Cup... ☀️
Thorsby: "For the players, it's an obvious problem of heat impacting the performance. Obviously the intensity of the game goes down. There are dangers related to heat-related problems, but it's also a huge problem for the spectators."
"Football is also an entertainment industry. The spectacle and the show and the sport loses its value if the players are not able to perform at their best. Everybody in football loses by not tackling this." (BBC)
@stephen_cusack Morning Stephen. Really sorry to hear this. Can you please provide the fleet number so I can ask the depot to investigate. Alternatively, the stop and bus stop where you boarded a service. Thanks.
@BeeNetwork bus wd5289 201 is running now over 10 minutes late not due to traffic but to driver being slow and over staying at stops needs to keep to time this now is making me late and will now probably miss contacting bus not good enough

@stephen_cusack Hi there, we're sorry for the disruption to your journey today. Due to traffic congestion along the Hyde Road corridor, some service are experiencing delays, with some amendments to journeys this evening.
Some Bee Network bus operators have suspended their strike action.
This means that most bus services in Greater Manchester will run as normal this week, as unions have called off strikes that had been planned to start on Tuesday [30 September].
Some services are still striking. Please check your service here before you travel - beenetwork.com/bus-industrial…
