This is a really good, spiky debate between Plaid, Greens and Tories. Increasingly sharp distinction between Plaid and Greens on energy infrastructure. @phildavies1995 very good on the need for honesty and realism on pylons vs undergrounding.

A 100-day plan full of consultations and unfunded promises is not a plan, but instead an admission of the sheer unpreparedness of Plaid Cymru to govern. Wales cannot afford a government still working out its homework after the election.

I interviewed Plaid Cymru's leader Rhun ap Iorwerth today and tried to get him to explain: 1. How much his signature childcare offer policy will cost (clarified after the interview as £400m extra p.a. by end of next parliament) 2. What he is going to cut in spending terms in order to make it happen (I'd struggled to find details on how Plaid plan to fund this scheme since announcing it last year) Interestingly, he talks at one point about "spending money differently on tackling poverty" Here's some of our exchange ⬇️ #c4news

Reform Welsh manifesto launch next Thursday. Given that their comms output in Wales often seems obviously AI generated and they've committed to re-opening the mines, I don't think I've ever been more intrigued about both the form and content of a manifesto.

Stripping Andrew of his titles is long overdue, but he still remains 8th in the line to the throne and a counsellor of state (a small set of Royals who can ‘deputise’ for the King constitutionally). He needs to be removed from both.
