LOVE @gethuxe. I wake up to a podcast that runs through my calendar, catches me up on overnight emails, and delivers news I actually care about. All tailored and surprisingly clever

@marksmithzurich @gethuxe For now, are you able to create if you go to the my shows entry point, click on your show, then generate? (As opposed to from the Home Screen)

@gethuxe Having issue creating my own podcast’s further episodes - if I provide some input for an episode it starts but then doesn’t create the episode… only ‘Generate Now” - providing zero input - creates an episode. Please fix 🙏

When we launched Huxe in September, I knew we were on to something special. It’s a simple enough idea: what if AI could go first? What would it take to make something really thoughtful, made especially for you? No prompts (or screen) needed - just a carefully curated list of bite sized podcasts you could listen to that were thought provoking, interesting, useful. Thanks to our thousands of users (and everyone in the Discord), in the last month we’ve learned a lot about what people want from personalized AI - particularly audio - and we’re excited to share a ton of updates today that make the app even better. Here are some of the highlights:

Check out @raizamrtn showcasing @gethuxe on one of my favorite podcasts, @twistartups
This Week in Startups@twistartups

Why @GetHuxe thinks you want to talk to your AI, not type In this exclusive TWiST clip, @Alex chats with Huxe co-founder @raizamrtn about her audio-forward AI assistant. She feels that voice interactions make the AI more personalized, and allow it to behave proactively. Huxe listens in and takes initiative, creating content and providing feedback for its users without direct prompting. Some may want their AI to exclusively help with productivity, but others are looking for a combination of helper and companion. For those folks, Huxe seems to offer an intriguing balance.

If I could speak my ONE product desire into existence, it would be this: - Claude's personality and common sense - Google's data - Apple's hardware - OpenAI's product chops - Huxe's offscreen-first experience - Sesame's voices - Friend's ambient concept - Wabi's aesthetic

Yesterday we broke a listening record: over 900+ hours played on Huxe (on a Friday)! That's over 38 days of listening all in one day. A few things that stand out: - People are sticking, and they're listening for longer - Daily Brief is the #1 format, but the number of personalized podcasts listened to is increasing (average on launch day was 2 → now almost 3) - Most users listen in the morning, but more and more users are tuning in multiple times per day We're still really early - but I'm really excited to see the product really connecting with people. The future of truly personalized content has never been so bright. Thanks to everyone that's tried it so far - I can't wait to share some of the stuff we've been working on!

So many people sending me the Pulse launch!!! Thank you to everyone who checked in and you're right, LOTS of similarities to Huxe, down to the UX, the banners, the taglines, the entire concept...😅 Building a new product is really hard: it requires so much out of you. But the most demanding part of 0 to 1 is it really challenges your ability to generate new and interesting ideas CONSTANTLY. Most people don't have that ability. I've worked in companies before where internally the norm was to copy each other or copy competitors, and politic to the death for resources -- because it's easier to observe and judge someone else's idea rather than come up with something totally new. That's why at Huxe, one of the things I'm really proud of is that we constantly try to imagine things on the borders of what's newly possible and what doesn't exist yet. I find that in this space, other builders either scoff at what you're building or copy it! So today, while surprising, is also really positive validation that we're onto something really interesting. The people using our product prove that too. On our side: it's business as usual. We'll keep going, and I'm incredibly optimistic we'll end up somewhere great ❤️

@gethuxe Listening at anything other than 1x speed makes the voices sound like they're talking to you through an aluminum can.

Today we’re launching AI-powered radio stations: you can create live, streaming audio on any topic, website, subreddit, RSS feed, or even an X user name.  Early users are making stations from really interesting topics – from fantasy football to stock portfolios, to announcements from kids’ schools. In the early days of Notebook, there weren’t very many of us. It was a small team doing a lot, and today’s ship reminds me of those days. I’m excited to see what you all create with the app.

When we moved to the Bay Area 6 years ago my husband could not believe the lack of good pizza, so he spent all this time becoming a literal pizzaiolo and now we just never leave the house and all our friends come over whenever they want good pizza

why is pizza in the Bay Area such absolute trash like wtf, we nerds can cook up a recipe for a gajillion-parameter model no problemo but can't figure out a mildly appetizing ratio for some flour, water, and cheese

thoughts to end the week - it’s a lot easier to look at a system trace to understand code than… reading the actual code - so grateful for the awesome team at @gethuxe - excited to launch some amazing things, coming soon
