🚨UPDATE: This message goes to Museveni's minister for Higher Education JC Muyingo the owner of SEETA schools. In 2025, Two students died at SEETA High school in mysterious ways in just a period of six months ●Kevin Nsamba, a 21year old senior six student reported drowned in a swimming pool at SEETA HIGH SCHOOL mbalala campus in mukono district Upto now the family never got justice even the investigations were alleged halted by the above. ●In February 2025, Elishama Ssesaazi, a 16 year senior three student of the same school allegedly committed suicide in the school dormitory. It's alleged that JC Muyingo contacted the DPC of Mukono informing not to investigate the death of the innocent student. ●In March 2025, Ivan Oloya a teacher at SEETA HIGH SCHOOL was mysteriously murdered while heading home in Bajjo All these incidents the government never came out not even JC Muyingo the owner of the school to explain circumstances under students were being murdered. The school was never closed and all these cases were denied media attention Why did JC Muyingo rush to close a school in Ggaba before closing his own?

What would you advise her? 👇👇,from Radio one. Dear He/She, My husband has a baby mama with whom he went to University and had a child with in their late 20's. They broke up but he looked after the child. When he met me he explained everything and so I had no problems dealing with the situation. In fact I am on good terms with baby mama. She can call me in case she needs to drop off her daughter, sometimes I even pick her up and bring her home to bond with her siblings. Hubby and I have 4 kids..2 boys and two girls. Last week he told me baby mama approached him with a proposal; you see since she's now in her 40's and the daughter is now grown up yet she is still single, she asked hubby to give her another child and asked him to come and talk to me about it. She isn't a bad person as far as I can tell after all these years of dealing with her, so I know her request isn't coming from a place of malice but I honestly have no answer for her, maybe you guys can give me one. Please advise 🙏🏿

Around the end of last year, I visited some political prisoners in one of the female prisons . During our conversation, they revealed that one of the inmates had been severely beaten while in handcuffs and later died. Her body, they said, was quietly taken away. I have never stopped asking my self these questions: Where was her body taken? Was her family ever informed? At the time, I couldn’t share this story publicly for fear that the inmates who spoke to me would face retaliation. I only confided in @AAgather, but there was little we could do. This incident reminded me of a man I met in Luzira during the March to Parliament protests. He told me he had spent 27 years in prison and that many inmates die unnoticed. With no media access inside prisons, such cases often go unreported, allowing the system to quietly get away with the loss of lives. So the question is; who holds prisons in Uganda accountable?

@emeka_ug Down playing the efforts of women who have single handedly held the fort, paying bills, caring for the household, etc. Sounds like it was an ego trio, not about being able to provide.

Even if Museveni’s inquiry finds "the truth," the damage to NRM’s credibility is irreversible. The mess was televised; the controversy is global. The Sunk Cost Fallacy suggests the NRM is throwing political capital at a race that is already tainted beyond repair. In my experience, once a referee starts taking orders from the team owner mid-game, the fans stop watching. The EC’s failure to take the initiative beforehand turned a local spark into a regional inferno. Museveni’s intervention doesn't restore faith—it merely highlights that in the current Ugandan political climate, the ballot box is secondary to the State Lodge briefing. nilepost.co.ug/index.php/2026…

Congrats. How did you buy the land at 27 so that the story is complete?
Douglas kato@douglaskato23

I started my first coffee garden in Mityana when I was 27. At that age, many of my friends were focused on moving deeper into the city, chasing jobs, chasing quick success, and trying to build a life around fast opportunities. I chose a different path. I looked at land in Mityana and saw something many people overlook potential. Not immediate money. Not comfort. But potential. Buying land and planting coffee at 27 was not the popular decision. Coffee does not pay you quickly. When you plant it, you know you are committing to years of work before the real rewards begin. But I understood something important early: Some investments are not meant for quick returns. They are meant to build a future. So I started small. No big machines. No large capital. Just land, coffee seedlings, manure, patience, and belief in the process. Many mornings started early, walking through the land, checking on the young plants, learning as I went, making mistakes, correcting them, and continuing to nurture the trees. When I look at those coffee trees today, I don’t just see plants growing. I see a decision I made at 27 to believe in the soil, to believe in the village, and to believe that real wealth can be built through patience and discipline. Sometimes the most powerful step a young person can take is choosing a path that others don’t yet understand.
