@justin_lamer @Paul44250784 @ATT @AST_SpaceMobile Fair enough. I just googled the subject, and apparently Bell received the patent for the phone 3 days before the demonstration. Even though I assume that patents were less 3xpensive to get back then, I assume there was some level of testing before he applied for the patent.

@oilboy34 @CatSE___ApeX___ I am not sure of the answer to either question. Based on the link budgets, I expect better interior coverage than existing satellite phones. But the only information that I have comes from public documents. And CatSE has uncovered a wealth of them.
