@james_hoganv DFW bringing a d1 program keeps a lot of talent local from the HP,ESD and Jesuit’s in the metroplex. The south would love to have a true D1 men’s program not to mention SMU already having a lacrosse facility

Not to mention SMU is one of the wealthiest and best funded athletic departments in the country. If they make the move to D1 lacrosse, they immediately join the ACC with the NIL resources to compete with the top programs in the sport. They would be competitive very quickly.

Responded to someone the other day suggesting Zodiac is the best film about journalism out there. My thought was Michael Mann’s The Insider is the best. But I’m reconsidering. Zodiac is flawless for a number of reasons. I’m not sure any journalism film really tops this one.

DEN can confirm the pedestrian jumped the perimeter fence and was hit just two minutes later while crossing the runway. The pedestrian is deceased, and is not believed to be an employee of the airport nor have they been identified. (2/4)
