@NickZednik I think a huge issue has also been budgets. Not gonna hit a billion everytime out and DC seems to understand that with lower budgets for this year including 40 million. MCU keeps making the same type of movies at 200 million dollars even when the IP doesn’t warrant it. Like bolts

Don’t be foolish, there’s definitely superhero fatigue. The MCU got away with “mediocre movie fatigue” for the longest time because it was the hottest ticket in town. You had to be there for the next movie no matter what. DC was always playing catch up and every time they had momentum, it came crumbling down. The only difference now is people are drawn to more alternative options to CBMs. The “prestige blockbuster” is what sells outside of the A-list characters. This year will be the test!
