@gthomp97 @LouieDN I have it on good authority that he’s retiring from the grader after this year.

@LouieDN I would pay money to have that grader operator compared to the idiot we have. Trenches both sides, and then puts a nice 12” berm back over the top of one side. Can’t get machinery down it and stands water every time it rains because it’s shaped like a bathtub.

Is this normal ?! Or should I bring this to the grader guys attention

@kbmfg It’s definitely not all bad. This weather might end up giving us a very nice crop in the end. Just hope the transition to too cold and snowy comes slowly so we can get them all in good condition!

Today, choose to remember high winds combined with dry, uncovered fields. Remember the soil blowing away and how that makes you feel. Then do something - this year - try cover crops, manage residue at harvest, get and keep cover on those fields so we don’t feel this way again
