Cockeyed centrist. Often found amongst the logs shaped like crocodiles, and the crocodiles that look like logs. Lost my bluesky password silly me.

Apparently this dress is by Victoria Beckham. Bit nasty of her to let Mrs Burnham pay 900 quid for something in Crimpelene that doesn't fit her. Sisterhood eh?in

I am no fan of Reeves or Starmer, but come on, the fact that they did what any sane person would do having just been kicked out of office - go to the pub - makes me slightly warm to them if anything. What would you have them do? Sit in a dark room wearing a hair shirt?
Ben Leo@Benleo

Kicked out of government and then off to the pub for a laugh and a giggle All while the country remains crippled Glad to see they’re having a good time credit @SunPictureDesk

This is the single greatest twist in children’s literature, maybe in all literature ever. Scroll through in order. “The Story of a Fierce Bad Rabbit” by Beatrix Potter. (I’m missing one page that doesn’t change the impact, @ElonMusk can Blue get more than 4 photos to a post?)

The horse (who is also the mayor) in his full regalia. Apologies that I didn’t get a better photo, I’ve been trying (not very hard) to meet this horse for many a year. Anyway, stick that in your pipe and smoke it Sadiq Khan. You might be mayor of London but my mayor is a tiny, patriotic horse.

@Ria1984 Innit. I used to be senco in a private school - amazed by the unrelenting parental pursuit of more and more advantages for the already highly privileged.

@Sami_Historian The Comedians was a programme that was made by Granada Television in the 1970s and early 80s and featured comedians telling jokes (and the comedians were well known on the Working Men’s Club circuit as well as television). Some of those on that photo *might not* be comedians.

@forwardnotback Feels kinda bourgeois. Until I think of shopkeepers I have known. Largely w/c clearly - but the owners of the jewellery and ceramics shop where my mum worked had a Volvo and several houses so... I dunno if it matters, all these folk worked for a living.

I don’t think it’s appreciated enough as a milestone in postwar British culture that the title of the 2nd most successful film of 1969 was an anal sex joke

@hellothisisivan Bloody hell, I'm 55 and all my innocence is now gone. I really didn't notice that until you pointed it out. Mind you, I thought the piggie who went to market was only going shopping until a few years ago.

In relation to Herbert’s arrest and charge(s) - I would recommend reserving judgement as to the legitimacy or grounds for conviction, until such time we are given details of what the charges actually are, and under what criminal legislative Act. While the reports say it was an investigation into his disgusting BlueSky posts about Ann Widdecombes death, he may not have been charged under Mal Comms/Comms Acts, or JUST under those Acts. There is currently a politically motivated terroristic murder being investigated, with reports the suspect was ‘radicalised’. Given the proximity of the social media posts to the murder, I suggest we all wait and see what the charges are before jumping the freedom-to-offend gun in defence of him. Yours, Legal lesbian who worked in criminal defence for 3+ years.
