whether it is healthcare or banking/financial services or parking or travel booking or roadside rescue or hospitality/hotels etc etc digitally comfortable people assuming everyone else has the tech and the confidence to do everything on a smart phone/wifi Digital exclusion

Been riding for over half a century, but something new happened today. I started the RD400 and the rev counter wasn’t working , broken cable I thought. Put it into gear and …the bike went backwards! I knew it was theoretically possible, but it’s never happened to me before

It’s very possible to ride into your dotage, my friend Pete rode until recently, he’s 92 . But, I wince when I see older riders on plastic rockets, we don’t have the reaction times any longer. Let your ride reflect your senior status- a bit slower to get going, but comfy !

Had a full-blown breakdown at work today. It got so bad my dad — who hasn’t had a drink in 35 years — bought me vodka to calm me down. When the sober parent hits the liquor store… yeah, it’s been that kind of day. 🫠🥃

@bmay This 💯 % The London 2012 Olympics were a high the point, the best version of this great country. Every year since then feels like a dumpster fire. It makes me so sad thinking about the decline of the UK since then.
