There are no gun-related policies on his website. He says he wouldn’t vote for an assault weapons ban. He says he supports red flag laws, but every policy wonk knows those laws are more suited to states and are unlikely to be passed federally.
Susan Collins supports universal background checks, closing legal loopholes, disarming domestic abusers, and high-capacity magazine restrictions.

@stevenbiel @mattyglesias It’s more likely Schumer has funneled money to Vote Vets. Based on my internet search the most they’ve spent on a candidate was $25k in 2022 for Jason Crow & Stephanie Murphy in their general election. To spend $2.65 million in a Democratic primary seems unusual.
