@WiganWarriorsRL @TheTurmericCo I think the club peaked in 2024 and we are slowly going down hill. Which is crazy when we are in the top 3 of super league but we seem to lacked desire since 2024. We have the best squad of players in the super league but Matty Peet isn’t bringing out the best of them.

The market is feeling a bit heavy here, but small- and mid-caps have been acting well. We’ve seen money rotating out of the mega-cap leaders and into smaller names. At some point, every investor has to shift their thinking away from what was working and simply follow the money. I’m becoming increasingly less interested in the mega-cap leaders and more interested in areas that are less familiar, less followed, and smaller in size. #IWM #MDY minervini.com

Tonight is New Year's Eve, and I’m reflecting on a year that should have broken me. It started with negative returns due to Deepseek gap down and a late-stage rare cancer (Thymic Carcinoma) diagnosis in early April. Between 6 cycles of harsh chemotherapy and transitioning to combination immunotherapy, I chose not to fold. I went back to my full time job and kept showing up for my family. I didn't just survive; I ran. Multiple 10ks during treatment and a full marathon just 6 weeks after my last chemo🏃‍♂️. Today I am running, biking, and lifting weights as the fight against this disease continues. It would have been easy to walk away. Instead, I stayed disciplined. The result? A 57% return. But the true profit wasn't the money—it was the proof that a "never give up" mentality can overcome any obstacle. To the new traders starting in 2026: The market will test you, and life will test you even more. Don't focus on the percentage; focus on your grit, your mental toughness, and the do or die attitude. Good things will follow. If you have the determination to stay the course, you will achieve anything. I wish all my followers good health in 2026, because trust me, nothing else matters. Happy new year all!

My 2025 trading year was a series of mostly sideways movement with 3 good months from April to July. Often it felt like death by a thousand cuts managed to achieve 30% return only to give back 15%. Learnt a lot this year but certainly didn’t feel like a massive bull year.

@TaPlot Thanks for your honesty - my trading year went Jan to Mar sideways no traction, April to July go upto 30% best winner HOOD over 100% and from sept to the end of the year gave back 15% my first trading year after a long break so trying to take the positives.

Confession time. November and December are really bad for me this year. Very disappointed at how much I gave back. Not good.

Shortened trading day tomorrow with markets closing at 12 CT. No plans to do anything except keeping an eye on open positions. It's still tricky with mixed results on open positions so I have not earned the right to keep pressing. I am hoping we simply drift higher for Santa rally. $spy $qqq $iwm $mdy $iwo

Not a good morning for me so far. Lost $nbis and $crwd with stops hit. And $ccg erased all of yesterday strength and some. I'll be in the air heading back home from TX when FOMC kicks into gear. Things will be on auto pilot.

A few themes/observations from my weekend work: 1. Market breadth has definitely improved in the short run (last 2-3 weeks). 2. While the high flyers have corrected (AI/software) we're seeing biotech and other growth areas acting really well. 3. Seeing a lot of stocks setting up in a few groups, gold miners, building/construction related names, and a number of bigger bases with lower RS in oil/gas as well. 4. NYSE Comp made a new all time high Friday before reversing, A/D line didn't confirm. 5. Last but not least I had the largest list of actionable candidates in several months coming into the week.

Thanksgiving is a great time to remind ourselves of the things we’re truly grateful for. Real happiness comes from perspective—comparing ourselves not to those who have more, but to those who have less. There will always be someone above you and someone below you; you’ll never stay at the top forever, and you won’t remain at the bottom forever either. What truly matters is how you view your situation, what you choose to do with where you are right now, and how you feel about the journey. Gratitude turns what you have into enough, and gives you the humility and purpose to strive for more without losing sight of what's important. Happy Holiday.

9 months battling late-stage thymic cancer. Life is different now, but the blessing of being alive is clearer than ever. I want to take a moment to thank this community. The support, DMs, and prayers you’ve sent my way have meant the world to me. Your support kept me going when things got dark. Wishing you all a blessed Thanksgiving! 🦃🍂

I gave back way too much since the market topped a few weeks ago. It could have been a lot worse if I was actively trying to get into new positions. Make no mistake the recent weeks have been very difficult. My only 3 positions continue to be $nbis $amd $fslr While all remain on the positive column, the give back has been sizable.

@MarkRitchie_II Thanks for this mark. Is it just me but apart from the period April to July this market has been very hard to navigate I was up around 30% and now back to around 18% . How does one make a living from the market when it’s unpredictable?

Well a week ago I said I had no clue where we were going but it was starting to pickup on the downside. Nothing has changed and growth leadership looks worse and some of the earnings less AI & related trades are getting taken out back here. Ironically (for now) the indexes are basically in the same place. When nothing changes I don't do much. Livermore said, 'there's a time to be long, a time to be short and a time to go fishing.' Its freezing out where I live and I'm not an ice fisherman but you probably get the idea that there are times when the best thing to do is exercise patience. A few scenarios; maybe we need a few weeks to digest and see what holds up...great, be patient and take it one day at a time and don't do anything until your process dictates. maybe we're starting a bigger pullback and it takes weeks/months...great, be patient and take it one day at a time and don't do anything until your process dictates. maybe this is the beginning of a nasty and longer bear market where movies like 'The Big Short part deux' get made as a result...great, be patient and wait for it...take it one day at a time and don't do ANYTHING until your process dictates. The issue when people can't wait is usually that they haven't solidified a process that requires them to wait or they believe a bunch of nonsense about how they 'always have to be invested' in order to get a good return. Nothing could be further from the truth at least in my experience.
